We'll see what he has tonight for real, so far, start of his career, against Portland's front or 2nd line big men.
Every time I see this post, karacha, I crack up. Because yeah I think realdeal does have a new fun target "classic" and Juggler Knot has always made me
Take a look at Ben Wallace... A 6'9" 250Lb. center. That's who Tarik reminded me of the other night with that explosiveness and physical play.
Why not? We'll see how much he really wants it, can stand pain from that kind of play over a career and how hard he's willing to work.
Black had 6 and 6 tonight with 1 block in 20 min and was the only player other than Young that had a + for the night. Not bad
Ben Rosales retweeted Tom @TJFsports ยท 12h 12 hours ago Tarik Black last 2 games, or last 40 minutes: 20 PTS, 17 REB, 1 AST, 2 BLK, 3 TOV, 7-7 FG, 100 FG%, 6-7 FT, 85.7 FT%
I dig him. He's perfect as a big off the bench. Athletic, hustles, and gets after the defensive side of the ball. By the way, if you haven't seen this, check it out. Great interview of Nick Young talking about Tarik Black after the Orlando Magic game.
That block was pretty ridiculous. i said pretty much this out loud during that sequence, "oh now Blake drives for a layup he did that like once a mont for us...ohhhh damn, that's why he doesn't!"
if you squint a bit, I think you can see a young turiaf here. ronny was on his way to being a solid backup big before the injuries hit.
Somewhat .... yes ^^^. Turiaf taller but Black seems stronger, more athletic and can jump higher so a push in the physicality aspect. Maybe even the edge in potential there to Black.
Same mold for sure. Undersized-but-beefy, mobile, defensive mind-set... I like those players. Powell was great for us too during our run.
Where did you get the clip from? That can't be from the television feed, or the camera dude got fired for being drunk or stoned.
