Bummer! The guy just layed on his stomach propped up on his forearms no emotion, not touching the area while blood was pouring out. Tough MF.
I like Price, but I actually wouldn't mind if he got waived. Not like he's in our future plans, and Clarkson gets more time. Still, like you said, doubt it happens, which is fine, I just wouldn't really care much.
Yeah but like with Ellison, not to just save some relatively small dollars. Bad form. Lakers try to send right messages for upper tier players, they certainly should for all the one and doners with some talent that we will always need. Unless of course they have need for his slot. Like for Ellison would kind of hate to see it now.
Well yeah, I don't do it to save some cash, only if they want the spot freed. Also, it's not necessarily a bad thing all around on Price's side, contending teams out there might have seen how well he's done for us and pick him up if waived, not like he'd be out of the league.
That's a good point actually. I would think somebody would pick him up after watching how well he's played for us in his role.

Yep. And I could be wrong in the way I remember this, but I think neither of those calls were flagrant fouls. In fact Ronnie was the one called for a foul on this play. Go figure. That makes three Lakers in the last 2-3 years that have gotten broken noses, but no flagrant. Is the league more violent than I'm giving it credit for?
Never said it was. Said it was a foul on Ronnie Price even though it was his nose that was broken. Tough break.
Yeah the cat that hit him didn't even give a bleep never looked to see how he was. Most would not, but that is part of what made Gasol so special here, that he was a genuinely good dude with class with his head in the right place outside of basketball.
