I think they only had Golden Bird in South Central LA but there were a few locations like in Watts and Compton and Inglewood
Earl of Sandwich is a sandwich chain. They have one in Vegas that's open 24/7, best thing to drag your intoxicated body to at 4am after a night out, and best thing to wake up to when you're hungover.
Last night my wife made me kalua pork sliders with red onions and some veggies on the side. I got a good one.
How have I missed this thread. I'm a total fatass, more than I should be. A little late to the game but here's my two cents for the In N Out vs Five Guys debate. For the price, In N Out reigns supreme. Its just so good, double double with grilled whole onions and toasted bun also those animal fries. Five Guys is good too, I enjoy being able to customize my burgers and the mountain of fries you get but it does get a bit pricey. A nice inbetween I think is Habit Burger. Not too pricey but still delicious, their Santa Barbara is my go to. Jack in the Box is good for those late night munchies. Never had the bad experience everyone talks about with Taco Bell. Chick Fil-A is the best fast food place, great service and their house sauce is so good. Church's chicken is my go to, their biscuits are so good. I think their is still a Pioneer Chicken somewhere in Downtown LA.
It's probably the same one. Do the Full Montagu and Thanksgiving ring a bell? This is Vegas we're talking about here, I'm just describing the situations in which you would end up there, and how delicious it is.
Yeah, I'm glad for my semi strict diet that there isn't a Jack in the Box here, but that ultimate cheeseburger with bacon and ultra thick, oreo shake were the s***. At $10, it better be. Side not, unless you dollar menu it, eating is not that much more expensive than drive through. Lunch time and happy hour special are really the way to go.
Big fan of the Habit. The Habit is actually number 2 behind In-n-Out for me, in front of Five Guys or Fatburger.
Fast food has become pretty pricey I think. If I do do fast food its usually always dollar menu now. I can't justify paying for a $10 combo meal from Carl's Jr when I can eat a bit healthier at a sit down for the same price.
Those lunch specials are where it's at! I go to the Thai place by my office and get a big meal for about 8 bucks! There's also a chinese place that gives two bowls for 6 dollars which is a damn steal. Their food isn't great, but it's still a damn steal!
