Good move. I don't know how trustworthy that source is, but the move to get Tarik Black was my clue to this one!

I love Jordan Hill, but if he can get us a 1st Round Pick, it's the right move to make.

Not surprising; must be that Memphis pick...good deal if it goes down.

I thought Hill couldn't be traded until mid-January? Good deal if it gets us a 1st, plus it should help us retain our pick this year.

I don't trust this source having looked at this twitter feed...lol. I do see something like this coming down the line, though.

Yeah I don't know who that person is, but it seems more like conjecture that an actual source. I still think it's something that makes a ton of sense for both teams though.

Yeah it's probably more of an educated guess than anything else. Cleveland needs a C, the Lakers just added an extra one, so it makes sense. I would like to see Hill moved somewhere before the deadline as long as a 1st is coming back.

Kyrie's about the only guy that could make that deal work, so let's go for it.

^^^ I'm down. Kyrie for Jordan Hill.

Sooo ...... how far in the "future", if true, is this 1st round pick, anyone know?

I'd love to get a pick, but we should be getting Waiters not Harris

Well that does us no good for at least 3 years then. They're going to be in the 15-30 position with the squad they have.

Is Waiters and pieces to make it work worth Hill? Have not followed him. I know he was a bit of a negative influence over his pecking order on the team. 2 way player .... offense and defense?

Rather trade him for Lance. He is a first round pick, and is still developing. Granted, he is a little overpaid. But a mid or last first round pick is not worth it. He has more value than that, even for a rebuilding team.

The protections on that pick make it so uncool. We need it for next year.

True, but to look at it another way it's essentially a guaranteed lottery pick. For example, imagine if the Grizzlies lose Marc Gasol this summer...pick could be looking very solid next year, when we would likely be giving our pick to Phoenix.

Guaranteed lottery pick? I wouldn't go that far. Either way it does us no good until probably 2017.

Hill is probably our best piece that we'd be willing to trade. A lottery pick that will most likely be in the teens isn't enough for him.
