Yep. I wrote a couple weeks ago on how those two fit together really well. Ball excels at running the offense and keeping the ball moving. Russell excels at putting the ball in the basket while mixing in good playmaking. Russell excels at the pick and roll and Lonzo can space the floor with his funky but effective three. Lonzo is great at getting the ball to guys coming off of screens which would really benefit Russell. Lonzo is athletic and tall enough to guard sgs which gives us the ability to leave Russell on pgs defensively.

It makes a lot of sense.

Yep, they have different strengths (almost opposite ones) and thus they make up for each other's weaknesses. Like you, real, I think they have a pretty great potential as a combo. I think our offense would be hugely improved. Both of them too can be capable defenders - they just need more work in that department, but can grow into it.

It would or should work... My concern is Russell's attitude. Is he willing to work it through? Ball is accommodating and mature.

Of course...chemistry though is crucial in any team and will affect play on the floor not to mention the atmosphere in the locker room. I really like Russell's talent and I hope he gets it together mentally.

Honestly I'd put Russell on point guards and Ball on shooting guards. Lonzo is 6'6" and while he's skinny, he's a strong skinny. Russell gets to keep his length advantage that way too.

I was so upset watching the ending of their game from a few days ago against the bulls. Booker was fouled on a 3 point shot with under a second remaining Suns down 2 points. He makes all free throws Suns win. Of course he makes 2 misses 1, game goes into OT and Bulls wins.

The Tank is strong over there

Great. Another young player that will take 2-3 years to develop; I'd take Fultz, and I can probably be talked into shipping Russell off because I think Fultz is the better prospect.

Anyway, if we keep this pick, not no moment too soon, I'm on the phone with Larry.

Kid's going to be a blur and set the league on fire his first year and be better than Curry in 2 or 3. WTF are you talking about?

Fultz kinda reminds me of...D'Angelo, but in control. A good plus. But what I do like about Russell which a lot of you don't like about him is his brashness.

The league doesn't owe us anymore. We got two top 2 picks in a row when we could have had none. The CP3 deal was years ago. We have been the ones to whiff on free agents only to sign Moz and Deng. :D

This is my guy. If we get the number one pick, it has to be FULTZ.

What's his ceiling compared to Ball ?

I've said it before, I think Ball is Penny Hardaway part 2. High bar, I know. But in addition to skill, he's got that "it" factor.

If I was infatuated with Russell coming out, Fultz has turned me out.

I haven't seen a player as polished coming out at the guard position since Chris Paul. Honestly; the kid has it all, imo
