Lonzo Ball's help defense looks decent, one red flag he has is FT shooting. Currently shooting 67%.

Saw that mid-range J in the first half...had a weak side block...forced a turnover by tying up a pass. The expected pin point passing. I like his activity on the boards. Oh and here's one for ya...Alonzo Trier.

Fultz is more of a scorer, combo guard. That's why I like Ball so much more. He will run the offense.

Lonzo knows how to control the game and you can see the passion he has, one thing fultz needs to have (that mentality). If fultz had that mentality he'd be consensus number 1. And if ball had a better looking jumper he'd be respected more

Smart player too...saw that one play where an Arizona player tried to draw his fourth foul by jumping into him. Ball backed off enough that the expected lack of contact threw the player off and missed the lay-in.

I hate to agree with his dad, but I do think he'll be better in a faster paced league. When he puts the ball on the floor and his head down, he gets where he wants to.

I do love how enthusiastic he is about his son but man, you aren't making the kid's life any easier. The media has given the guy a microphone and he's running with that for his X mins of fame. Just let Lonzo be Lonzo and whatever happens happen.

He has said Lonzo is better than Curry twice in separate interviews and now this....

I will feel sorry for any fanbase that has to deal with his dad's comments once Ball ends up in the NBA.

    Yikes....

I'm being picky here but watching the ending of that UCLA-Arizona game in the final 2 minutes you saw what concerns me about Ball he does have trouble creating his own shot. Maybe its the ankle or fatigue but I think those issues are real.

Luke talks about Ingram's feel for the game and I think Lonzo has those same qualities. No player is perfect.

Lonzo Ball's father clarified statements made Saturday to an Arizona radio station about the UCLA star playing only for the Los Angeles Lakers.

"All I said was that my boy is going to play for the Lakers, and I'm going to speak it into existence," LaVar Ball told ESPN on Saturday night. "I want him to be a Laker, but I wasn't saying he's only going to play for the Lakers."
