Ingram can play SG with George at SF. There is no concern about "fit" for George. Key edge for me on George is he is a much better 3pt shooter. George is 38.2% this season and career 36.6% a compared to Butler at 33.7% this season and career 32.9%. And while it's not by much, George is younger.
I feel like most of these "reporters" or "insiders" just say stuff like this that makes sense, but they really have no idea what is going on. 'I'm told" could be Savory Griddles on a message board hypothesizing.
Aside from Woj, I don't feel like many people know jack. Imagine an insider Q&A session where someone proposed the Cousins deal that actually went down. The guy would have been crushed for even suggesting that as a viable option.
Let's hope the Lakers can get through this unmolested with a dash of fresh snow going into the second half of the season.
If true, it adds to the thought that the move was made to go ahead and get them out of here before they shipped off any of our young guys.
I also gotta think most of the offers on the table were either crap or really unlikely to go through for them to go ahead and pull the plug like this.
...plus there was no guarantee that Cousins will re-up with us. Afterwards...got no center, got no star, got no young players and there you are.
Probably a good chance Magic can get him here if he is willing to walk away from the pelicans next season.
According to Ramona on ESPN710, there's a trade for Lou on the table, just waiting to pull the trigger. Apparently it's either Washington or Indiana. The asterisk here is if something weird happens like someone suddenly becomes available.
Him and Stu. I know Pound4pound hates Stu too. The dude has been so unprofessional the last couple years with his attitude.
how so? rarely ever get to watch games so i wouldn't know it would kinda suck to see stu gone though. billy mac is annoying so don't care if he goes. i liked joel meyers better
I heard Utah not Indiana, but my hearing isn't great. Either way, good to hear. A deal makes too much sense. Hopefully it's not an overly protected 1st.
I can't speak for pound4pound, but I know Stu has been pretty damn rude to every announcer we've had after Chick. Maybe he has been venting since he finally gets to speak after years of having to wait for the right moments next to Chick, but it's time to chill by now. Aside from that I guess he acts during games like he doesn't want to be there, but I can't really blame him after watching decades of greatness and then having to call the worst 4 seasons ever.
Magic is so savvy. "It's gonna take a lot" if teams want Lou. I mean, just stfu and make a deal. Posturing can turn teams off.
This is essentially my problem. He acted like he didn't want to be there. I know it's rough after getting used to winning for that long, but it's your job. Act like a pro. Ralph Lawler had to deal with decades of losing and he always remained upbeat.
