I mean, I think an additional 3-5 years from now to be competitors might be a) realistic and yet b) unacceptable.

I'm getting up there in age. I've given up all hope of my 49ers being average in my lifetime, but c'mon Lakers, don't do this to me too. #ThankGod4SFGiants

Niners and lakers have something in common....bad family owners in charge. Im a niner fan too, i know harbaugh was probably hard to work with but how do you force out a coach that brought you to 2 consecutive ncf conference title and 1 sb.

It's a balance between finding young guys minutes and establishing a winning culture. The 2nd unit got us back into the game in that 4th quarter. Luke rewarded them. I don't have problem with his decision, especially if it helps the FO shop Lou.

I predict questionable rotations tonight and a painfully close loss

...last season it was questionable rotations and getting blown out.

when the team played games like this last year, byron got the blame.

    just sayin'.

btw, the lakers are a horrendous defensive team--and when you consistently put lineups on the floor in which three guys can't shoot to save their lives, you're going to get blown the f out by the last place team in your conference.

Everything about Scott was just bad from his offensive scheme to how he treated players. Then he'd just throw them under the bus on a consistent basis. It's no wonder players didn't like him. Luke on the other hand while holding them accountable will continue to encourage and build his team up after losses like tonight. You need a coach like that to get you through bad nights like this.

And now to WMC about this game: I can live with losses like the one against Sacramento, it's performances like tonight that are just plain unacceptable. No effort, no heart, just plain sorry. I'm hoping we keep our pick so we can flip it and a youngster or two (not Ingram) into a star. We need a gotdamn go to player who can get buckets when we're struggling. Tonight's effort was just plain despicable.

In games like this, I wish Magic would trade the entire roster for Paul George or Jimmy Butler.

Heck with games like this, I sort of wish we'd trade them all for Boogie Cousins even. I don't like this feeling.

    Ingram - 3 points in 28 minutes.

    So there's that.
