Well that Lakers/Mavericks game was quite the turd buffet.

Four courses of disdainful mediocrity. I suggest a grass-fed laxatives, because the whole team looked like they did not give a sh**.

I can just see any player saying "It's either your team or the Lakers." and the GM from the other team popping in this bloodbath into the blu-ray, and the player taking a discount to sign with them.

I would have thought being down by 34 at halftime would have lit a fire under these guys. I was mistaken I guess.

One of the worst games I've ever had the misfortune of tuning into as a Laker fan of 40 years. Just horrible.

I honestly don't know what's wrong with this team. I mean yes, the defense is atrocious, but is it bad because we just don't have the talent? Is it because of the coaching? Is it because of the effort or lack thereof? Or all 3?

At this point i'm kind of just like "meh, whatever", bring on the next season, i'm already done with this season.

    1) Effort
    2) Maturity
    3) Talent. Bunch of role players and no superstar or all-star caliber player.
    4) Coaching. A rookie coach trying to teach a bunch of young boys how to play against grown men is tough. Even veteran coaches struggle to do this. Just ask Thibs and SVG.

For me the defense is primarily bad because of lack of defensive talent. They are terrible individually and thus, also terrible collectively. Effort is part of defensive talent BTW. If you don't have the desire to do the dirty work, you lack the most important defensive talent.

That's it. I'm done with this years team... There are like a million better things to do in my free time than to watch these Millionaires giving an absolute c**p out there playing for this once proud franchise... And i thought Smush, Kwame and Co were hard to watch...

Sorry but IMO the signings of Mosgov and Deng should force buss to sell the team. After saving all that cap room you sign these 2 duds to 4 year contracts...

That's what happens when not even a single superstar grants you a meeting...
