When I watch a TV show, I like immersing myself completely. Good display, lights off, headphones on. I gotta pay attention and absorb every line of dialogue.

One of the main reasons I haven't watched as much TV lately as I have the past few years is because I don't have a TV in my bedroom. We have a nice TV in the family room, but I can't put on a mature show that requires me to pay much attention when my family is around chatting. So I have to resort to watching shows on my phone before I go to bed.

But that's all gonna change when my 65" OLED 4K HDR TV gets in next week

I'm probably gonna finish A Series of Unfortunate Events before then, so right now I'm debating what show I should start/catch up on to break in the new TV. In terms of 4K HDR programming on Netflix, right now I'm mainly debating between The OA or Season 2 of Daredevil

    Colony is really good.

Also, Sherlock is back, and amazingly well written as usual, but each episode is like a movie

Finished Lemony Snicket this past weekend. I loved it. Weird and creative, it has a Burton-esque feel to it but more modern.

Watched the Netflix movie/documentary, The Imposter, over the weekend. It's crazy to think that this actually happened.

As did I! Why haven't they made a live action movie of that? Del Toro should dump Pacific Rim 2 and do Voltron.

I will say, I am a bit disappointed that the new rendition of Voltron isn't using the classic Voltron theme.

I was telling my daughter today that I'm struggling getting back into season 2 because the music keeps taking me out of it.

Is there a chance we'll see Sherlock season 5, what do you guys think? I really hope Strange and Bilbo are up for it, it really is an awesome show. BBC finally did something right :D

I thought the executive producer said this wasnt the last season.

I hope not because this season might have been their best IMO.

After some sleuthing, it looks like it might be back in some form, somewhere down the line. That's good news :)

New History Chanel show "Six". 2 episodes so far but it looks good, give it a try...
I'm deciding between Vikings and Exorcist now, probably start with the latter since it's shorter :D

Agreed with Kenzo "Six" on the History Channel is good.

I'm watching Homeland as per each season. Not as good as years past. But still a fav.

Finally got into House of Cards. I thought the first season started off wonderfully. I'm at the start of the 2nd season and my belief suspension is already starting to wane.

First 3 seasons of Homeland..rank up there all time favorites. A must watch, ranks up there with LOST for me.

The Killing..same thing. Great show, Suspense show with a twist. good plots.
