Shhhhhhhh... no one is supposed to remember why I'm biased...

But seriously he's struggling to find minutes over there so I figured it'd be a good gamble.

I get the re-considerations considering how far off from being a consistently very good player Russell seems to be. Even to the point of finally entertaining "dumping" him for Westbrook if we could make the dollars work with pieces. Get at least something for him.

I rather keep Nick since he plays defense and trade Lou

I actually agree. Our defense is so bad, getting rid one of the 3 dudes on the team that actually tries once in a while seems scary.

It was a joke. Hence the "finally entertaining "dumping" him for Westbrook" and goofy gif.

Needed one of these fine new pieces of sirron art:

At this point I'd be happy to trade Luol Deng + Mozgov for Carmelo Anthony + Knicks #1 pick this year! :Magic Brows:

I would trade Russell if it means we can get a star player in their mid 20's.....a forward like George would be great. I'm not seeing this IQ and star potential regardless of the per36. Handle is weak, not superior athletically, not extremely quick and if his shot isn't falling he is pretty much invisible on the court. We can live without a PG, we just need one that can be a 3/D pest like Beverly if we had some one like George and Ingram develops more as the point foward. Matter of fact I wouldn't even care about Ball if he is going to be a ball dominant player in order to be effective, its already the case with Dlo, he should be player off ball more or posting up.

I don't condone violence, but next person who suggests the case for Russell is based "on per36 stats" deserves a choke slam. It's actually insulting to suggest such things. He's averaging 15-5-4. He's at 16-5-5 this month. At his age, that's awesome.

How many people have posted 15-3.6-3.6 at 20 or younger? Nine. Westbrook, Rose, Wall, Russell, CP3, Odom, Magic, LeBron (twice), and Tyreke Evans.

    Follow-up:

These nine players have a combined:
    44 ASG
    1 6MOY
    4 ROY
    8 MVP
    6 Finals MVP
    8 All-Rookie 1st
    1 All-Rookie 2nd
    1 All-NBA 3rd
    25 All-NBA 1st
    10 All-NBA 2nd
    11 All-D 1st
    4 All-D 2nd

The LEAST decorated of them are Odom and Evans - who were 17-5-5 and 13-8-4 players who were at the very least above average players (17 PER each) in respectable NBA careers. The best are simply some of the most dominant players in their era - and the best players at their position (I'd put Magic, LeBron, CP3, and Westbrook in the category - maybe Rose pre-injury).
