I'm doing the Man in the High Castle right now. I have two episodes left in season two. Pretty damn good show.
Anyone seen Crazyhead? I'm only in the first episode right now, but it's interesting. British women killing demons. Typical.
I finished the first season of Crazyhead.... not sure what to say about it, but I did finished the season, so I guess it's good enough for me to want to see it. Couldn't recommend it compared to all the really good shows already recommended here.
Series I just finished: The Thick Of It - Great political show starring Peter Capaldi as a spin doctor. (rewatched) Fortitude - Another great series. I'm watching Wayward Pines at the moment, not too bad so far, but i'm going to check out The OA after all the recommendations in this thread.
I haven't heard of any of these. Gonna look them up on IMDB and give them a spin. Which one is the best of the bunch?
Wayward Pines was good...for the first season. A Shyamalanlike twist midway through-he does serve as executive producer. Second season my personal opinion...eh. I saw the twist at the end of that coming a mile away and...ew. Hoping third season is a little better.
I'm so stoked for Netflix's Series of Unfortunate Events. Coming out this Friday I think. I loved the book series growing up and Netflix has such a great track record.
Really looking forward to that. I also started watching Tom Harry's new series Taboo. The first episode was really good. Fantastic sets, wardrobes and actors. I can't yet tell if there's any mystical/magical element to the story line, but I hope so.
I recorded the first episode but haven't checked it out yet. Maybe tonight after the Lakers game if not for sure on Friday.
Quickly binged Stranger Things for the first time. It was great. One of the rare shows that lives up to hype.
Dude. You hadn't seen it yet? Crazy. I loved it, but I'm 37 so the kids were roughly the same age (a little older) than I was at that time. About how old are you (if you don't mind me asking)? I've noticed from my completely unscientific poll I'm inadvertently conducting, that people in my age group seem to enjoy it more than people that are in their 20's. People in their 20's still like or love it, but people my age seem to have an deeper attachment to it.
Started OA today... Brit Marling looks EXACTLY like my ex. Better not watch it at home i guess, someone might be pissed
Just binged watched Stranger Things, awesome and smart, made me relive the X Files days . I feel like i lived under the rock lately, so many great shows out there. Can i go 3 days straight with nothing but watching tv... hell yes i can. What next guys?
