Haven't looked at schedules.. just hope we can get everyone healthy again and re-connect with some of that beggining of the season hunger that creates consistency and thus great overall team progress(player development included w/youngins).

That's what truly matters to me, if above happens and next thing you know we create magic that pushes for playoffs I'd be etcstactic like shooting my first laundry load lol.

As frustrating as the last Month has been, it was sort of expected given the brutal road schedule & the plague of injuries.. We've played the most road games of any Team in the League & have had one of the toughest "strength of schedules" in the League as well.

We're going to have a nice stretch here with 8 out of 10 games at Home. Let's see if we can right the ship somewhat.. Definitely gonna help to get Nance & Black back on the floor.. Missing their energy off the bench.

Lakers are still only 3.5 games out of the 8th seed.

Losses weren't the issue actually. It was the blown 19 point leads that hurt more. Teased us with dominance, on the road and we got excited and than they blew the leads. I'd say that was the brutal part of it. If they had just been outplayed the entire game, it would have been more acceptable. At least for me anyway.

No problem man :) I was just trying to look at things a little more rationally after the last few heart breaking losses!

Biggest positive I can find right now... We're still not far off out of the 8th playoff spot... But we have to mount a decent winning streak...

My only positive was that we had a road heavy tough schedule...but we have started to lose home games to toast teams like the Suns and Mavs....so schedule means **** if you keep sucking.

Teams finally getting healthy and actually builds solid leads in games. I think a great deal of our inability to hold leads can be attributed to youth. It still stinks for now but the next few seasons should see a lot of improvement

It's funny because as frustrating as this season has been... Is it not a far cry from the desolation of last season?

It's not like we're unable to compete and are outclassed every night. We have had the lead or been very close going into the 4th quarter in the majority of our losses. The final score is indicative of a group that simply doesn't know how to win yet. I have some faith they'll figure it out. I'm not sure they'll make it with this team as built, but I think we've got a good thing building here.

I completely agree. Last year was just complete hopelessness for me. This year is frustration because we're actually close to being good. You can at least see the foundation of a team that can really compete out there.

when the team's been healthy (russell, most of all), they've been so much more watchable than last year. i'll take it.

I think you nailed it perfectly. Hopelessness last year and frustration this year.

Yeah not used to watch and root for a lottery team... It sucks

The worst Lakers teams I closely followed were the 05-06 and 06-07 teams

Save for the free throws great all around game from the boys. Looked like they did to start the season. Hopefully a game like this can jump start them a little bit.

My only real optimism right now is that we STILL have a better record than the T-Wolves. With their supposedly amazingly talented young roster and awesome coach, they still have nothing more to show for it than we do. Young teams don't win, that's the takeaway for me, rebuilds require patience.
