We all know that a certain someone, who shall remain unnamed, wrote a really dumb article on how nobody wants to play with Kobe. Well, Durant decided to chime in on that again.

*Credits rolling on Kobe's historic 20 year career in the summer of 2016. He said his farewells and has made his peace with the NBA. Durant is being interviewed somewhere about free agency. Mitch Kupchak is picking up the phone*

Kobe hears a call from far, far away... Can he handle 21 seasons in the NBA?

Just the start of a smile.

Kobe, make teammates better? Nonsense, the media told me he doesn't do that, why should I take players' word and stats over what they say?

Man, i would give my friggin left nut to see it. Playing alongside Durant, would allow Kobe to conserve soooo much energy for the 4th q it's not even funny.

At that point in his career, I'm not sure what Kobe will look like. We'd have enough money that summer to throw at Durant along with whomever we get THIS summer with enough left to give Kobe a respectable contract. We'd have a pretty competitive squad. It'd be interesting to say the least.

you're not using the "advanced" stats, my friend. according to those, kobe has zero titles and should be moved immediately for amir johnson.

I like Kobe, but I probably wouldn't want to play with him honestly. I want a teammate like him, but without all the cussing and s***

Henry Abbott, the only thing of note this guy ever did was call the Pau Gasol trade a couple hours before it happened but big deal, so he got lucky and overheard something. A journalist so revered that he doesn't even have a Wikipedia page. How important can you be to the NBA if you don't have a wikipedia page. Smush Parker has a wiki page. Now I'm sure in his years as a stand-up comedian that he gleaned all kinds of hoops knowledge and also while growing up on the rough streets of upper middle-class suburban Portland OR.

Only a company like ESPN would lack sufficient integrity to purchase Abbot's blog TrueHoops. They knew very well that he'd been discredited many times for biased reporting including using fake quotes and crediting them to "anonymous sources" (still does that) but they bought him anyways. He is ESPN's shot-taking weapon that they use knowing if he ever steps over the line too far they can just suspend or fire him and say "we should have looked into his history better". Other media have routinely stated his sources cannot be trusted. He is journalistic dirt.
