And the crazy thing is I remember the old Ule Brenner movie and thought that was the height of cool when I was a kid. Never would have imagined they turned it into this. Also:
Damn, can't link it on my phone, but tech insider did a video with all the hints about the man in Black's identity
I'm surprised you didnt catch the man in black is you know who, Barnes. Maybe its because I watched too many analysis videos but that was a very popular theory since the 2nd episode. Sucks that we will have to wait til 2018 for season 2.
Yeah, I didn't watch any theory videos or anything, so I was all on my own, missing all the hints lol
^That's a good thing though, a lot of the things were sort of "spoiled" for me even thought they were just speculation because the thought was already in my head from all tne analysis videos I watched. There were a ton of clues though as to why there were two different time lines with the man in black. Definitely a show you would rewatch.
I'm getting caught up after following the show through the first 4 episodes and its really turning up the anti! Spoiler: Spoiler Bernard is a HOST, never saw that coming
Good point about Harris and Hopkins. Those two know how to get it done. Before this show started I was surprised to see Hopkins name as one of the actors I thought he had retired. Than I see him in the new Transformers movie trailer as well.
I just binge watched all of Westworld today. That was damn amazing but definitely a mind trip And now it feels like a chore for me to catch up on the 4 episodes of Walking Dead I have left in the season ...
Designated Survivor. Keifer Sutherland in a 24 retread. While a copycat, it's a really good show worth checking out. Fast moving, well acted, and they've already filmed season 2.
The O/\ on Netflix. It's a Netflix original and highly rated. About a blind girl who goes missing for several years and just shows up one day and her sight has been restored. The 1st season is 8 episodes and it's a really unique series. I wouldn't say it's great, but definitely worth checking out.
I just started watching The Exorsist TV series. It's really really good IMO. Great acting, story, and effects. I was torn between starting the AO and Exorsist, binge, but the AO will probably be next.
I think O/\ is the best TV series I've seen in a long, long time. And I nearly stopped watching it in the first episode. If you give it that chance to get through two episodes and you're not hooked, I need to know why. It's incredibly smart and incredibly powerful.
A few series I've binged recently 1. O/\ - amazing. 2. The Colony - dystopian sci-fi. Really good world building here. Amazingly tense, good character development. 3. Paranoid - British detective drama. Good writing. Good characters. Interesting case. Lots of twists and turns. 4. Narcos - Escobar's cartel. Couldn't really get into it. Mostly deplorable human beings, on both sides of the story.
Both The OA and The Colony have been in my queue for a little bit. Will definitely have to check them both out real soon.
