    A president can't unilaterally eliminate a government agency. But I get what your saying and yea I'm glad you are no where near the office of the President.

    Actually Presidents can. They can't eliminate Departments of government, but have the authority to eliminate agencies. Trump theoretically could eliminate the EPA altogether and the IRS as examples, but could not eliminate the Department of Education without congressional cooperation.

    I thought Trump's entire rhetoric was to "clean the swamp" of a corrupt government?

    Hires two former oil executives into office...One with ties to Russia.

    Nobody knew what Trump really believed, because he would just say things. Some of that is for the good in him backtracking on some of his more insane statements, and some of that is terrible like in this case.

    Former Bush appointees, Wall Street guys, oil tycoons....seems more like he's pouring radioactive sludge into the "swamp" then draining it. I think the phrase for this is "bait and switch"

    Oh and John Bolton will be Deputy Secretary of State, so there's that -_-

    It seems like everyone is complaining that Trump isn't taking daily Intel briefs. Everyone except people like me who have sat through daily Intel briefs. Him saying it's the same thing every day is so true.

    To spice them up they have different people give them each day. same words, but the tone, tenor, bass, pitch and treble are different. LOL.

    I will say, if (when) anything happens, he's setting himself up for criticism.

    Aren't they one in the same? One was the failed nominee. One is the disgraced party chairman. The formal Party itself choked, but won't admit fault. Rather blame Wikileaks, Comey, racist, and the Russians.

    Democratic Party establishment was in collusion with the Clinton camp and leaked the questions ahead of time. The Russians were the one who leaked it to the benefit of Trump. Doesn't make what the DNC and Hillary did any less damning, but the Russians did do it to help her political opponent. That being said, not sure why you responded to my post about Trump's tax returns with essentially "But Hillary...". She lost the election. She's irrelevant now, along with any political power she has/had. Trump didn't, and will be President. That makes him relevant. And I'm going to keep on periodically bumping the tax returns in this forum to remind people that he still refuses to release them even after the election.

    FWIW, Julian Assange said it's not the Russians and that it was a person(s) from within DNC and US government.

    The first to expose Debbie Wasserman was from within DNC. He was killed a couple days afterwards.

    I understand the desire to see his taxes, but I don't remember the Left clamoring for Obama's birth certificate (didn't see it until 2nd term due in large part to Trump), college transcripts (we still haven't seen them), and his rumored anti-American thesis.

    Every US President and presidential candidates in modern times have released their tax returns. This should be a completely non-partisan issue. Obama released his short form birth certificate during the 2008 campaign (and yes the short form was sufficient enough in the eyes of the state of Hawaii). Even after he released the long form, it took Donald Trump till a few months ago to recognize he was born in the US. Even then, there is still a large swath of the country to this day who still question where Obama was born.

    And college transcripts? Has Donald Trump released his? Has any President released their college transcripts. I remember Bush's were leaked, but he never voluntarily gave them up, neither did Hillary.

    It's gonna be an interesting Cabinet... He's got some pretty smart pragmatic people in that Cabinet.... The secretary of Treasury and Commerce interest me the most... These two guys have a made a fortune, sure they know how to make money, but does it translate into making money for the states? We shall see.... Lots of energy, lots of picks that have people scratching their heads, which is what I like, what I voted for... Hopefully he can deliver, hes only got a few more weeks before he's really put to the test.

    You like that the future Secretary of State has business ties to Russia?

    Or maybe you're okay with all of the Goldman Sach's executives he's been selecting for his cabinet, after relentless going after Hillary for having ties with them. Kinda ironic.

    Seems like a bunch of conflict of interests to me. I'm just here like...

    I'm open to arguing and criticizing Trump and his appointments, but my money is on him improving the economy. A LOT!!!
