Optimistic we should be able to split next four games, I REALLY want to beat the thunder though since they beat us the first game as a new team.

Some more of our dudes in perspective:

    Sophomores

    Russell is:
    6th in minutes played but...
    5th in STL
    4th in PPG
    4th in APG
    2nd in AST
    1st in 3PM

    Nance is:
    14th in minutes played but...
    15-tied for BLK
    9th in O-Reb
    8th in D-Reb
    7th in REB
2nd in FG% among qualified players
    1st-tied for STL

    Huertas is:
    8th in APG

    THIRD YEAR:
Randle is 8th in Minutes but...
    8th in STL
    8th in BLK
    7th in O-Reb
    7th in PTS
    5th in FG%
    3rd in AST
    2nd in FTA
    1st in D-Reb
    1st in REB

Clarkson is 12th in Minutes but...
    12th in FG%
    9th in AST
    6th in PTS
    2nd in STL

Black is 29th in Minutes but...
    26th in PTS
    23rd in FTA
    13th in D-Reb
    10th in BLK
    7th in REB
    4th in O-Reb
    4th in FG%

If we look at just Win Shares and Value Over Replacement Player, here is the comparison:

    Rookie
    Ingram is 3rd and 6th(Tied)
    Zubac is 19th(Tied) and 6th(Tied)

    Sophomore
Russell is 19th, 11th (and rapidly on the rise)
    Nance is 6th, 6th

    Third Year
Randle is 17th, 42nd (and rapidly on the rise)
    Clarkson is 8th, 7th
    Tarik would be 10th, 13th(Tied)

That is such great stuff to read. Thanks for taking the time to sleuth it out and type it out. Certainly not copy and paste.

Come on now ..... reward yourself and start watching again.... trust us. Your life will be better.

I don't have cable now (simplifying life), and I'm on the east coast. Unfortunately, I have to be up at 6:00 for classes, so it's hard for me to watch Lakers games. I'll see them as I'm able. I can listen tonight though.

Do you at least come here to the Media section before the NBA police lock them and watch CaCHooKa Man's game highlights? In a reader's digest kind of way that is pretty cool. All the good stuff, not the screw ups and his recording DVR, editing and image quality is just as good as it gets.

Spurs could barely miss yet our guys kept the game close until the very end. Good fight in them as always.

Love this team's fight. The 11 made baskets in a row by the Spurs pretty much put us behind the 8 ball and we couldn't get over it, but we played hard and made them sweat big time. Good game and we were down a significant piece in Russell.

Valiant effort. To comeback and be within striking distance against the Spurs is big for such a young team. Who knows what would have happened if Russell played.

Lots of positives from this spurs loss...

In particular we played solid D at stretches: Randle showed growth with great help defence throughout the 2nd, the way both BI and Deng were playing Kawhi was great, JC, Nick and Lou all came out with some great defensive plays. We've shown we can get multiple stops in a row, it's unfortunate we let Tony Parker run wild in that 3rd and if we could just fix up a few simple plays like securing some boards (the ones that stand out are BI not securing his against Kawhi and Nance against LA) here or there we would of been right there at the end.

Nick and Lou played extremely well. Nick was attacking the paint which is great to see, when he puts pressure on the other team like that and gets to the basket and/or picks up free throws, he is much better offensively. Meanwhile lou was probably our best offensive player tonight, played that PnR with Black beautifully to begin the second, it was practically an automatic score for us resulting in 9 points to start the second which got us right back into the game.

Awesome to see the hustle and fight throughout the game. With a better start and Russell in this match, I think we win this one. Hopefully we can get the next one against the bulls.
