You guys know what this is. I am slightly worried that it might soon become a Player X for Hero, Deng for Zero thread, but let's see what happens. What are your thoughts for the LAL-NOP game?
Oh hey! This thread is nostalgic! Hero: Lou. He's the main engine of our bench, no knock on JC. Zero: Deng. Obviously, hope he get acclimated to playing ball again soon.
Here's the thing with Lou vs Jc. When jC is the main guard controlling the ball, he often finds the correct player, often Lou is the recipient. When Lou controls the ball, the offense often stagnated.
I think I'll vote for Lou this time. He often keeps us in the game for long stretches and just does a little bit of everything for the team. Zero is obviously Deng, who just... can't do anything right now. Is it conditioning? What seems to be the problem?
Makes no sense to call to call the offense stagnant when Lou is pouring points in on efficient shooting most every game plus throwing great passes also finding the correct players and having arguably better control of the ball than Russell. At the moment. Lou IS offense and he's playing just like Luke wants him to. Just like a Curry or Thompson would with taking the shot if it's a good one or he creates a good one by being very aggressive. Look at his shooting %. Wow! Same thing with Nick. Same thing with Russell and Clarkson when they get hot.
Also, there are often times Lou is basically tasked to bail the offense out when they can't find a shot. I give Lou a slight nod because he can consistently get to the line (only once @ NO though), but Clarkson's energy and athleticism cannot be understated. Zero - unfortunately Deng. I don't think he's as bad as the boxscore indicates, he does a lot of the "little things", but 0-6 tonight stinks
