Regarding the OKC loss, so proud of our fight throughout the entire game and to be within 4 points mid way through the 4th quarter was impressive. Final score was not indicative of how the game went.

Tough loss right there, we were within striking distance right there in the forth but couldn't get over the hump. It did take Paul George making some clutch shots for them to win though.

Our youth really showed out there but hey, maybe we win these sort of games as the season goes on. We could have easily been blown out all three games.

Would've loved to have seen Zubac getting some burn too.

We're competitive. Definitely not like the nightmare the past 2 seasons. No insane blowouts in the losses and even those have been close until we run into dagger shots like from PG13 tonight.

I see the kids and the vets mesh very well. Luke definitely knows his x and o's but is also learning some valuable experience along with them.

welp, hes Paul George and that's how a superstar shuts down the 4th. especially if D'Lo is guarding him on consecutive plays. I did like seeing Ingram guard George though.

Heartbreaking loss. Plenty of potential to be happy about though, especially in the second half. We might've even won if Mozgov didn't get hurt.

Horry said it best on the post-game show ... they were right there but every time they had an opportunity to tie or take the lead, they were too young & excited. Hopefully with more experience they'll handle these situations better.

The main thing I'm happy about so far this year is that although we are losing more than winning, they're playing hard & much smarter every night! Couldn't say that about last year. Props to Walton -- I think he's been instrumental in this shift.

even when we lose i am enjoying lakers play.
all the games are close, and we returned many times before which was unthinkeble a year before, most of these loses camed becouse ot hte anexpirience but that are growing pains, i can see that our team is going in right direction and i am sure we will only get better as time goes on.

Consider that we are on a long hard road trip to start the season with a new team, with a lot of players that haven't played with each other for very long.

We are actually doing really well to be in these games down the stretch, and later in the season, and if many of these games were at home, they would have been wins.

Other than the turnovers we are really in these games. Lots of fight, and some decent talent out there on display. Hopefully Moz is ok, he took some brutal shots tonight. Just the overall offensive schemes are so much better than what we've seen in years. Tons of open looks, many chances to pull away, just need to take advantage of it.

Man if they can just knock down some shots with a little more consistency they could be winning some of these games. But the price of being a young team I guess. Offense definitely looks better though. I figure these young guys are gonna take some lumps early on, but I think they'll be alright down the line. Sooner or later this fight they have is going to start paying off. Just gotta have patience....

Yeah seems like he would be more valuable suited up, just in case, like tonight when Moz had to go out, than Robinson suited up every night.

And even all the Lakers haters on ESPN and other team's commentators are starting to admit, this team is just young, but watch out in a few years because we have a lot of talent to grow.

i know lakerland isn't a place for moral victories, but being in these games is really important for development. i think russell and randle seeing paul george and westbrook take over on their team down the stretch is a good learning experience.

Young team on an early 4 game road trip trying to develop chemistry and right balance for lineups, and still competing night in and night out, and not getting blown out against more established teams.

We'll come home to the Warriors, but a little home cooking will be nice.

Listening to the post game radio show, the hosts commented on how last season the last few losses would have followed a similar pattern where the game would have gotten away from them by the middle of the third or at the outset of the fourth. Two issues they have to address is to halt falling behind early by double digits and learning how to make plays when they matter. The former is bothersome while the latter is nothing that can't be corrected by learning and confidence.

Growing pains...not caused by confusion and incompetence. I expect this crew to exhibit cohesion before or after the All-Star break.
