We chalk this up to simply being out played and out game-planned today. How we bounce back will be huge
Agreed but neither Jacksonville and Tampa Bay are world beaters at the moment... Tampa Bay appears to be the more tougher match-up of the two. Del Rio has made plans for the team to stay in Florida for two weeks instead of heading back.
I just mean "into the Denver game." But at home is a much more promising matchup for us, all things considered, even if we are "road warriors." Oakland is a .26 favorite in Sagarin's system, giving Oakland the smallest margin being the favorite. KC +8.4 Denver +8.3 Chargers -5.4 If things play out like this, we'll have: Raiders 5-2 Denver 5-2 KC 4-2 SD 2-5 Gotta keep pace with Denver, and we need to rack up those wins in the event of a Wild Card. The thing that terrifies me about this team is that we still have the worst-rated defense, and our projected wins/losses is actually at just under 8 right now. Need to win all the toss-up games.
The Raiders lost, but here's what happened with their defense: They are now surrendering 132.2 yards on the ground per game, which is about as bad as it has been for them. They have improved against the pass, however, overall. While they are allowing 312.7 yards per game through the air, that's decreased nearly every week: 419-404-340-236-331. Similarly, their total yards allowed are coming down: peaking at 518 after two weeks, it has fallen to 476-460-453 to fall to 444.8 this week. Not good, but it's a massive improvement. The 27.2 points per game allowed are a problem, but it's at nearly its lowest level of the season.
Game is on TV here in Washington today. So i'll def be yappin in the house today. Lets get that W. Not sure when the last time we would be 3 games over 500 this late in the season
alright. we hold for the first series forcing the punt. Raiders ball on the 30. Apparently its our 2nd possession Don't know what we did first time out.
Good 3rd and 7 completion for the 1st down carr to Crab. Penalty on 1st down gives us 1st and 5. Prob go down field on this one
ugh Walford drops the pass in the endzone as carr makes a dangerous pass in the endzone. Should of been 6 instead we are doing the 3 point thing again. 3-0 lead
