Russell and Clarkson need to play the most minutes at 1 and 2 together. They're the best guards on the team far and away, and probably the best 2 players on the team.

There's what, 3 games left? I want to see Russ and JC start, see what they will give us. And more Zubac!

Luke hinted that he was going to possible change up the starters for Saturday's game. Lord knows we need JC in there

Safe to say we probably would have been waxed by about 50 had the Warriors starters played 3rd quarter.

they would have had cooled down by then....they beat us by 5, they're great but we are better than you think. It just proved the truism that the Lakers are 10 times better than the Clippers. GS beat them by 50:Brows:

I don't know...Durant was still going off in the 3rd quarter before Kerr pulled him. Doubt they would have cooled that much. In any case was glad our bench fought back against theirs.

in fairness, a bunch of their early stuff was just nailing well-contested jumpers from deep. not much you can do there. now, the lakers did manage to keep losing the two-time mvp in half court sets...which isn't good...

also helps that they defend a lot of what the lakers do every day in practice for the last two years.

so, my primary disappointment was the slippage in defense, but even if they were better, they were going to lose.

abeer3, you are spot on with the slippage on defense. Their screen-setting is just so good. Russell couldn't keep up with Curry through those screens. Klay is just bigger, stronger, and by appearance, faster than Clarkson; Klay knows how to use his body better too. In all, GS had a great system and they are so familiar with it, they're a well-oiled machine.

Hopefully this is a good learning experience for the guys.

Golden State is Golden State. They just had 3 players on the USA's Olympic Team. Curry would have been the 4th had he not decided to rest and sit it out. It's just freaking insane. This team won 73 games last season and added one of the top 2 players in the league. Are you kidding me?

The only we can hope for is improvement on Wednesday. Oh, and we face this team 3 times in the first 4-5 weeks of the season. LOL. What a joke.

We need a bigger wing. For sh**s and giggles, I'd start A. Brown on Klay; He might be torched, but I like to see someone with more size on Klay.

Brutal first half. But nice to see our bench especially battling and running our sets throughout. They never gave up which is really cool. Cool comeback.

I was going to post something along those lines, but it wouldn't have been as eloquent or funny.

If Clarkson remains on the bench, I think we have a solid bench unit.

Nick? Or is his D when he's really battling or speed not on Brown's level?
