LOL. I added it in that most recent post - it means that the player's stat is estimated/fudged because the player hasn't done something that gives a measurable stat. Typically, it means that the player hasn't handed out an assist.
I don't know about all that - I do think the eye test is very important, and I don't think my stats are all that. When I look at a player's statistical profile, I look at shooting split, on/off, PER, Pts+ast+reb, and VORP. I think they're all good stats.
