Price > Lin, Sacre > Hill and Kobe is in his 20's. We all get it Byron.

This. If you want to play the scrubs the whole 4th then do it. Don't throw Kobe out there in garbage time, throw Clarkson, never been this annoyed with Scott.

Sacre is a black hole. If his role is to come in and shoot every time he touches it.....

    Yikes.

And yet he's a +48 in the 19 games he's played despite playing on an awful team. Go figure.

Anxious to see these changes to the starting lineup Byron promised after tonight's game for this Sunday. It better be Davis for Booz or maybe Ellington for Wes.

This team would play so much better if they..

    A) moved without the ball when Kobe has it
    B) teach Sacre and Hill that shots just inside the 3-point line isn't worth taking every single time they touch it.
    c) PG actually attack the damn paint.
    D) not have at least 3 guys going 0 for whatever in a game at the same time.

You are making too much sense. You will never have a place in the Lakers coaching staff Puffyusaf#2. In other words play the percentages and have meaningful movement that creates space or opportunities rather than always having to start plays in first gear. Why is this so difficult to see, deficiencies are glaring at us mocking us. Maybe Byron has grit in his eyes.

Is it bad if I think this season the games seem...boring? If we were winning it'd be one thing, but we're loosing game after game and it's like we're just plodding along at in uninspiring pace that generates zero excitement. Say what you will about last season but at least the fast pace made the season go by a little quicker. I look now and we still have 60 some games to go while it seems like we've already played like 40. Our defense is bad and we knew this going in, but our offense is just is bad and Scott can't seem to find the right combination of players to generate consistent scoring. I guess they weren't kidding when people said we were in for a long season.

I think bad play and questionable decisions is one factor. Watching Kobe give his all for zero results is painful, and I too worry about him getting injured. Finally there is a lot less going on. I remember expecting us as at least favorites to win each and every game we played. Scanning the table hoping we could capture the top of the Pacific division, the Western Conference or the League in order to have home advantage in the playoffs. Playoffs? Now this is not an issue. I try and keep interested in results and games around the league, but it is a lot harder. This reminds me off when I would read message boards from bad teams. The fans on their had no idea about other teams because there was no reason too. They only liked their team. They did not like Basketball unless their color of jersey was on a player. If a player left they hated him. While I think lakersball.com has deeper fans than this, we can now feel a kinship to some of these bad teams with slim chances. Enjoy your moderated success and media spotlight while it lasts Clippers.

Actually, last season we got off to a decent start without Kobe; 10-10. We fell off in the 2nd half of the season. Actually, I think Young was out for 17 games or so, and Farmar had issues with his hamstring...if they're healthy for the season, we might have scarped off 3-4 more wins. As it stands right now, we'll be LUCKY to get close to 25. High 20's is pushing it with this team...

Get rid of Price, Booze and Yelsew. Sign Clarke, get Kelly back- I think he will blend in nicely. Cause it's painful to watch. What can be done about Scott?)))

Seriously, nothing can be done about Scott this year. And I would be absolutely blown away if he's gone before midway through next season, too.

Yeah I don't think the Lakers can afford another coaching blunder.

Crazier stuff has happened but even if we lose Byron midway next year - that's 4 head coaching changes in 5 years.

I think Byron sticks around for the rest of this season and two more seasons. He's a place holder while the team rebuilds, someone who is liked by fans and critics like Magic and Worthy.

WMC: Phantom calls late in the game. Ginobli got a whistle for an all-ball swipe and then Splitter did as well. Terrible calls that could've changed the game completely. We could've won in regulation.

Not to mention the Matt Bonner call in OT when Nick was called for the foul but the replay showed all ball on the block. Like @Weezy and I were mentioning in the GameTime chat what got us most upset especially was how many time the call had to be reviewed. That's just lazy officiating. Sure you want to get the call right, but the NBA is never consistent with going to the replay in other games.

I read a tweet last night that said since this replay has been in the NBA there have never been that many calls going to the monitor before. I dont know if thats accurate but it sure felt like the most I had ever seen.
