Sorry!! you know I love this kid. I do realize he's maybe a little over a year older than when we got Andrew as a rookie. But then again I don't think (?) that Epic thread was launched until the following year mid way or earlier, on Clublakers. What do you think? Bynum one full year into the league, Big Man Camp 2 years in a row back in the day, Kareem freaking Abdul Jabbar for your personal Lakers Big Man mentor .....

..... or Zu ..... who never had benefit when he was 17/18 years old playing against men already in Europe, no Big Man Camp x twice, no Kareem ..... hell not even a weight room or decent trainer prior to this summer?

You're gonna make me post that one picture again aren't you?

    :Noddingyes:

On a serious note, I like what I have seen so far and I missed the game last night. Very skilled at such a young age, and in the position we drafted him, it's a complete steal no matter what. Will he be special?

No, man no please. LOL. It sucks. Come on. Talking young Andrew Bynum vs young Ivica Zubac here. I'm thinking Zu has 2 tree trunk legs up on Drew already. Certainly a knack for defense out of the gate and a much wider repertoire of offensive moves for season one in the NBA.

Shirley you can't be serious. I'm serious. In what way, let's say .... starting off year 2 for Bynum vs what we have seen so far from Zu already? Took Drew a year just to lose his baby fat. "Maybe" his vertical 5-6 inches higher at the most ..... if that?

I think we all have High hope's for him, but it's just too soon to be comparing him to an all-time legend and champion like Bynum.

    :Fishwink:

You are going to make Bynum mad

It's uncomfortable, and unhealthy. But, it's entertaining as hell.

Reading his posts, you would think he had dragan bender's potential or something LOL

It's fun to give him a hard time because it's too soon, but the reality is he's probably right. I'm definitely pulling for him to be the best center we've had since *insert name here*.

Zu right now is better than Mozgov or Yi.

That doesn't make him "special" yet, but it makes him a likely rotation big along with Black. Considering how much $$ the FO doled out for Mozgov, that's nothing to sneeze at.

But..... aren't you kind of under estimating the value of "verticality"?

Psssshhhh. I expect :Chewie: 's vertical to increase. Ohhhhh wait ..... you mean the "Slow Roy" thing! Well, how amazing is it that Zu has been like a rookie possessed playing Defense and slamming shots back in the grills of NBA and Summer League players in the key ..... with no real issues of "foul trouble" yet? The refs seem to already be letting him do his "thing".
