I think they are going to be huge for us this year, literally and figuratively. A very nice 4 big men to have to rotate out there as Luke sees various advantages to be had, cover for foul trouble and hopefully nothing worse than minor injuries to anyone as the season wears on.

Mozgov, Zubac, Yi and Black. Black "may" be a sleeper this year, watch Day 3 footage at camp of those guys and a there's a little bit of a Dream Shake from Tarik with a coordinated left handed release. Also see him dropping some Js. They can all use both hands very well. I "expect" Zubac to be a huge sleeper for us. Maybe as we watch the rotations with them and how Luke has them playing ..... a nickname will surface.

Players tend to look good in practice....matter of fact thats how Yi got picked so high, his workout include running around a chair as the defender lol

Sigh. Yes. No s***. I wasn't basing it on their drills only. Bunch of eye tests, what Moz has done in the past and what Yi under a great coach and now stronger and probably better than 4 years ago.... can do, and what I am seeing in Zubac and after listening to Black and seeing the coordination and strength he has had for two years now about to take a leap upward from what Scott did to him last year. Glass half full .... sure! But I think it is going to be one of the strongest 4 man Big man rotations in the league.

Yesterday, and not saying he's wrong ... remember Luke has already called out Huertas for looking good running things and being like a coach out there ..... Bres said it was looking like Huertas was going to be the back up point guard, not Calderon. It is waaay too early to be calling any of this. Let's see how it is looking by the end of the actual pre-season games.

Eye test? All we've got so far is clips of drills and coaches being positive. So where is eye test in regards to live game?

Stop being so cynical and reach into your memory banks a little huh? Mozgov just 16 months ago when healthy like now (always...my takes predicated on health, of course) .... was beasting against GS in the freaking NBA finals. Black, 2 years ago in his rookie season played very well for Houston and well enough for us his first year under a crap coach in Scott, who then totally f***** him last year. He looks far more polished now. You can see the work he's put in and still has great coordination and athleticism. Zu blew up surprising everyone in Summer League. If you don't see the frame and build and lower body and how he moves people around down there already, PLUS his great coordination for a 19 year old kid with his body and both hands and all kinds of shots and some go to moves down low already, plus looking like he's a really good defensive center down low, at least ..... then I don't know what to say to you except shake my head.

And how you fugure ALL these bigs get enough individual pt to live to this hype of being one of the best rotation in the league? Moz wasnt beasting, he had 1 or 2 good games cause gsw didn't care about him and had 6 9 Draymond playing center

Well I don't know, except the head coach who really seems to have his s*** together and I happen to have a lot of faith in wanted all 3 of Moz, Black and Yi. Luke's going to play deeper into the roster and rotations than we are used to around here, like at GS. As I said there's always particular match ups he will see, foul trouble and injuries to cover. Your opinion that Moz was not effective 2 years ago against GS in the finals and the last third of the season for Cleveland after they picked him up is certainly not held by everyone else or the FO and the head coach. And you just ignored what I said about Black and Zubac and further above, Yi 4 years later and likely improved. They held up Ingram's contract for him for like a month and a half.

How Yi was signed has no baring on how good or bad hes going to be, if he was some legitimate high impact player mgmt wouldnt have given him such an incentive based contract. I like Zu but Mitch has already said he doesnt expect him to get much pt and black seems to have already been relegated to being the 3rd C as Yi will be the backup C with his 3pt shooting, black isnt one to be effective with limited mins to begin with. As for Mozgov, im not his biggest fan, just dont fall down on every play like hibbert and thats as much as im gona expect out of him

That I DO. He has a natural feel for the game and does everything so smoothly at his size already. I think he will have competitive value his rookie year at his position similar to Ingram's at his young age at his positions. Except he's got the body and mass to move people already. I heart both of them. :p
