That he;d be making them in practice as that is a possible reason why he got as much playing time as he did last season.
Apparantly, from Luke, Brown has won quite a few 3 point contests http://www.dailynews.com/sports/201...ton-building-foundation-through-relationships
That's awesome, now that he's fourth in the depth chart at that position. Just keep bringing the guys towels at breakfast club k?
Maybe why he's been getting SWOL this summer in the Lakers weight room. Damn ball last year was too heavy for him to handle NBA 3pt line? Or he is Sasha 2.0?
I don't hate many Lakers. I pretty much never use that term. But I hate Anthony Brown. I just can't stand him. Sorry.
Dang ^^^ I was wanting to find sirron's crazy eyes photo and/or gif of A. Brown to put here in reaction, but could not locate them .... don't know what the heck he did with em.
We've sure had our share of "practice sharpshooters" over the years. I've heard Mozgov has been stepping out and shooting a few threes too. Not holding my breath.
The difference is that even THOSE practice shooters shot a respectable percentage from 3. A. Brown throws more goose eggs than... a goose egg thrower. I got nothing.
He is a complete sieve defensively, but so is Huertas. However, he is an elite 3-point shooter that can space the floor. The team operates with much better spacing out there on the floor. As a result, you can pair him with Russell or Clarkson who can play off-ball and/or probe the defense in open space and utilize Calderón as a spot-up shooter. I hope Luke finds a rotation that staggers Russell, Clarkson, amd Calderon together and minimizes Huertas and Willliams during the season.
