"Jill Stein, US Green Party candidate, 'defaced bulldozer'
    • 8 September 2016
The Green Party candidate for president has been charged with criminal trespass after being accused of vandalism at an oil pipeline protest in North Dakota.

A video appeared to show Jill Stein preparing to spray-paint a bulldozer.

She was protesting over the Dakota Access Pipeline, which is opposed by environmental and Native American groups who fear its impact.

"I approve this message," she is accused of writing on the blade of an earth-moving machine.

In a statement following the news of criminal charges, Mrs Stein said she hopes "the North Dakota authorities press charges against the real vandalism taking place at the Standing Rock Sioux reservation: the bulldozing of sacred burial sites and the unleashing of vicious attack dogs".

A judge has issued a warrant for her arrest but it is not known whether she intends to turn herself in.

She and her Green Party running mate Ajamu Baraka are charged with misdemeanour counts of criminal trespass and criminal mischief.

Since April over 3,000 people have been protesting about the pipeline. In recent days, private security forces have been using attack dogs to clear protesters.

Mrs Stein was also arrested during her 2012 campaign. She was protesting outside a debate to which she was not invited.

The 1,100 mile (1,770 km) crude oil pipeline passes close to Native American burial groups and is opposed by over 200 tribes.

A judge has temporarily forced the Texas-based Energy Transfer Partners to halt construction, and is due to decide on Friday whether to withdraw the company's building permits.

Same thing with Johnson's screw up this morning about Allepo. At this point, any press for Johnson or Stein is good press.

I mean she's doing exactly what the Green Party would want so...

And Johnson's mistake was brutal. He can't get taken seriously with mental mistakes like that.

It's not a mental mistake. He just didn't know the city.

His remarks about banning burkas is more damning than not knowing about a city in Syria.

Actually afterwards he said he knew the city and was just confused in the moment. He thought the city name sounded like an acronym so he was confused. He says he knows what Aleppo is.

I find Burkas offensive because they're designed and meant to mute women and hide them in public. I can't force a woman not to wear it though if she feels the need to because of her religious beliefs. It'd be pretty silly to try to ban something that is a religious tradition. The US Government is supposed to be separated from religious statements anyway. Would a law be passed saying that you can't have Ash Wednesday because it offends some people? I doubt it.

I don't think Hillary is gonna make it to November, let alone 4 years as President.

    Weekend at Bernies.

That's really her. Go to TMZ. You can see the video and her shoe that didn't make it to the van.

Her people are saying she was overheated. It was 75 with no humidity.

Don't see it happening. Whatever it is that she has they obviously knew about it. They pushed forward anyway...unless the Clinton camp is somehow keeping it a secret from EVERYONE? I doubt that could have happened. They have a lot of former friends, now enemies within the DNC that would have squealed...unless they were killed.

I don't think it's pneumonia. I had pretty bad pneumonia in both lungs at the same time. It can cause you to feel loopy and out of breath, but you aren't getting weak at the knees and losing the ability to support your own weight. I think they floated the overheated excuse. People started questioning how stupid that is with it being in the high 70s and 40% humidity, so then they tried to think of something to cover both the passing out and the coughing. But something that isn't "chronic." So pneumonia it is!

Has she had health issues in the past?

This is one of the most bizarre Presidential races of all time...

Perfect conditions for Gary Johnson to sneak into office...

There's like a bizillion other things you can criticize her on and multiple things that can disqualify her for President. Implying that she is somehow unfit for office because she has some underlying health issue is unnecessary IMO. To me this just about people, who already dislike her, and are finding another reason to hate on her.

For me Hillary's health isn't the issue, it's that she lies about it. She's a liar, from the biggest to the smallest thing. Collapses in public, "allergies". No wait, "heat exhaustion". Ok, ok, "pneumonia".. maybe. Stop lying, liar. This election is a no-win situation. Unqualified psycho vs corrupt liar.
