--Cooper and Crabtree, yes. Roberts and Holmes likely. After that, competition seems wide open. I don't know a lot about any of those WRs except Hall, who ran a 4.40.

--This is a tough position to project. I think the Raiders would like to move Rivera and run with Walford, Smith, and Holmes. But Rivera is a worthwhile keep on the roster.

 

^I like Richard among the backs over Jones and Atkinson... Receivers? Supposedly it will be Holton that makes it. TE's? I like Rivera's pass catching...Holmes is on IR I believe so he gets to stay on for a bit.

 

That is supposed to be a strength so yes I agree that it is a concern.

 

I have no idea who's making this roster at RB.

 

...I have this crazy feeling that Murray will be less relevant as the season progresses. This kid Washington is fast, shifty, can catch and is willing to block. Del Rio appears to want to replicate a Jones-Drew in his prime. Carr has raved how exciting the rookie is on the field.

 

Cuts:

Raiders waived RB George Atkinson III, OG Mitch Bell, WR K.J. Brent, CB Kenneth Durden, WR Marvin Hall, DL Drew Iddings, DL Branden Jackson, OG Denver Kirkland, DT Derrick Lott, LB John Lotulelei, TE Jake McGee, WR Jaydon Mickens, TE Ryan O'Malley, OG Oni Omoile, LB Korey Toomer, DL Greg Townsend Jr. and LB Kyrie Wilson.

Neiron Ball likely to get an IR designation. Damn.

Surprising names? None, really. Atkinson is fast as hell, but he can't hold onto the ball. All of the 2016 draft picks are still on the roster, I think.

 

GAIII with Cleveland...good to see he's getting a chance. Cowser and Ball cleared waivers, both on IR. I really like both.

 

...the calm before the storm. Saints statistically porous on D dating back to last season. Brees against our new secondary. Could be a high scoring game.

Denver last night looked like a team that will still be a difficult one.

 

Pretty pathetic start from that defense - 150 yards 17 minutes into the game.

 

Taiwan Jones is a terrible kickoff returner, too. I'll just throw that out there.

 

Offense is moving the ball now, but they can't punch it in.

 

Sean Smith has been DESTROYED.

98 yard TD pass over him.

 

O is moving the ball, but they keep stalling. Defense is getting SHREDDED.
