That was pretty good. I never heard Jaden rap before, but he's much better than I expected

Not that there's anything wrong with it, but do you guys only listen to hip-hop? Seems like 99% of the posts in this thread are of that genre.

I listen to mostly rap and R&B, but I'm also a classic rock fiend, enjoy country, and a little jazz.

Kandace Springs - Soul Eyes. My favorite album (so far) of 2016:

Not a bad song on this album. She's a mix of Sade, Alicia Keys, and Norah Jones.

Not at all. I only post the hip hop I listen to ... because it seems like everyone else in here only listens to hip-hop :D

I listen to a lot of different things actually, but most of the posts in here are from me, and I usually post when I find something new I like. Honestly, i don't find many new songs I like in other genres.

I LOVE My Chemical Romance, Depechmode, Sade, Tear for Fears, Fall Out Boy, Bjork, to name a few, but what have they put out new for a while (other than Fall Out Boy)?

I'm not a DJ Khaled fan, but his new album is excellent.

That's probably the worst song on the album.

What does DJ Khaled even do? From what I know, he's a "producer" but he doesn't even make his beats. He pretty much just gets the hottest rappers and producers together?

I thought he made the beats, ala Dr Dre and Kanye (when Kanye was good). I honestly don't know a lot about him, other than him making a lot of collaboration albums. But this one is really good. Surprisingly good.

Frank Ocean released a listening party CD (Endless) and an album (Boys Don't Cry (Blonde)). Both are worth checking out.

    Channel Orange was a classic.

I was so confused by the album rollout that when I listened to "Endless", I wasn't sure if it was the actual album or just a visual album to accompany the real thing (what it turned out to be). I liked it, but was disappointed because I was wondering if that would be only release from Frank this year. I liked the music on it, but felt a lot of the better songs were too short.

So I was glad to find out that "Endless" was just a bonus. Seems like it was probably just "B-sides" or throwaways from the actual album

Gonna check out "Blonde" later tonight. Trying not to get too hyped.

Blonde was great. It's going to continue to grow on me, but I already know it's gonna be one of my favorite albums of the year. Much more cohesive than Endless. Musically he's shown so much growth since Channel Orange. The lyrics are deeper and more mature, his songs are more experimental. I can't say it's better than cO, but it's a damn good addition to Frank's discography.

EDIT: Just watched/listened to Endless again before I listen to Blonde a second time. Endless is so much more enjoyable now that I know it's just a bonus and not the full album that I had been waiting 4 years for.
