This quote is actually what made me look up the dumps, I just forgot to link it. Thanks!

I'm not sure what dump is out there that the Lakers would be willing to make AND makes sense for the other team. I don't see much.

As for an unnamed FA... Okay? :D I don't know what that means from Pincus. I'm not sure if he meant it literally as there's a FA out there that nobody knows about that we're targeting or if Pincus meant we're waiting for some random FA to take the cash. Weird quote from Pincus.

There's not many interesting FAs left... Copeland? Harkless? Hickson? Budinger? JR SMith? Amar'e Stoudemire? Dorrell Wright? Metta World Peace?

There's a couple RFAs: Harkless, Montiejunas, Tyler Zeller, Dion Waiters, and Tim Frazier...

I'm not sure what fits or makes sense for the Lakers to spend money on at this point. The best investment is probably Harkless, but I'm not sure how he fits. Montiejunas is a solid investment, but he's had some injury issues and would be another 4/5 for us.

Hey real, wouldn't you like to have Harkless start at SG for a great defensive presence and move Clarkson to the bench , who I believe would have a great opportunity to shine extremely bright?

I know that leaves Lou Will the odd man out but he's on such a great contract it would be easy to move to a team that needs scoring off the bench.

No because Harkless is a 3/4 not a 2/3. I like Harkless a ton, but he's an awkward fit here.

I feel you, though I feel like he's more of a 2/3/can guard the 4 depending on who it is. but I'm more so talking about being able to defend 2's.. Like Klay Thompson, I feel like he'd be a great fit, once again especially since we already have multiple capable scorers in our starting lineup.

    I think he's mostly a 3. He could probably match up against some 2s and some 4s, but he's a 3.

What're your exact reasons why he can't guard twos? I get he's not gonna be a traditional SG that can score at will, but he'd be starting for defensive purposes. I think he'd be s terror guarding two's with his strength and length.

He's 6'7.25 without shoes. Let's not act like he's KD. We need more D in our lineup, not offense IMO.

I don't know what he can and can't do, to be honest, but if you look where he has played for the past four seasons, 90+% of his time is at SF. He plays some PF, and he plays very little SG. I take it that that's because teams know what he can do.

Yeah he's not quick or fast enough on his feet to guard most twos let alone starting twos. Clarkson would be a much better fit. Again, I like Harkless a lot and I think he'd be a good replacement for Deng in four years, but for now keeping him would be a tough one. There's not much room for him here.

I'd flip Mozgov in a sizzle for the right deal... Especially if that means he's included in a deal for Cousins. Even if it's not a Center, I'd still do it to speed up Zu's devlopement&we still have T-Bo after all.

I can't wrap my head around role players getting Kobe money. These contracts are nuts.

It's a great time to be young and to be perceived with more potential.

A little older with the same production = 1/4 to 1/2 the money.

CJ was fantastic this last season. I think he's definitely a starter. I just wonder how/why he's worth twice as much as Jordan Clarkson. I think JC's contract is going to be a fantastic value over the next few years.

Crazy how Philly made a play for Clarkson then Ginobili and both rebuffed them.
