That might help explain why they just let Sullinger walk.

As much as I hate to say it the c bags are having a much better free agency then us. I honestly like it when they're competitive so that when we meet them in the finals we shall destroy em :)

i'm not positive that horford is the prize people think. i mean, yes, he's better than mozgov, but billing him as a superstar signing is a huge stretch. he's a stretch as an allstar, imo. horace grant-ish.

now, if they get westbrook, they're scoreboarding everyone.

Only significant "Star" that they would be able to get would be Boogie. Jaylon brown and assets for Boogie. If they do that, they have a spot in the ECF next year.

If the Flippers were smart, they'd trade away the cancer on that team. The cry baby, injury prone, second round fodder that is Cliff Paul.

And take that package above of Crowder, Bradley + BKN 1st.

would need a third team, and it couldn't be sac. no way the clips move any of their big three unless it's for guys who help them win right now. bkn's draft pick isn't useful to them at this time.

also: griffin and horford? doesn't horford want to play pf? and now you have a relatively undersized front line that's not particularly formidable on d? not sure it makes sense for anyone. boston needs to be full steam ahead on westbrook. if i'm okc, i just ask for both bkn picks and call it a day.

Exactly, and man, I couldn't agree more with you about your assessment on Horford. Now, if you told me, they got a Chris Bosh or Pau Gasol in their primes on that C Bags team, I'd be more excited if I were a C Bags fan. Don't get me wrong, though; Horford is a very good player, but they do need another, and I would have to have him as a Laker, but they do need another star to pair with him, IMO.

Griffin for Gay? There has to be the Brooklyn pick AND Jaylen Brown in there too. I suppose if Brown, the Brooklyn pick and Gay went to the Clippers, that'd be an OK haul. Not good by any stretch and they still get ripped off, but with the way they played without Griffin last year, getting that kind of extra depth might be more valuable. Sacramento gets Marcus Smart maybe? Gay isn't lighting the world on fire and probably isn't THAT expensive. C Bags would be giving up a lot of the buzzing defense that made them overachieve last season. But a lineup of Thomas/Bradley/Crowder/Griffin/Horford...That's an ECF team for sure. Heck, that team actually matches up real well with Cleveland.

i'd go so far as to say the word "another" might not be necessary in the above statement. i'm just not sure horford's as impactful a player as people think.

zach lowe put out a FA piece today wherein he predictably: bashes the lakers, props up the C Bags, and apologizes for the rockets. seriously, btw, is that like the zach lowe formula? it's a shame he lets his transparent agenda guide his work. he could be good at this job if he were more objective.

anyway, 28 million per for a 15/7 guy is a HUGE win, whereas 16 million per for a 10/7 guy is a catastrophic fail. he also trashes the mozgov signing while heralding the mahinmi, ezeli, and biyombo signings, each on the grounds of youth (apparently ignoring mahinmi's age), citing the lakers's timetable not fitting with an older player (what kind of lame analysis is this? everyone on a team has to be the same age?). furthermore, he questions mozgov's injury while ignoring ezeli's MUCH more troubling injury history.

i think he's smarter than this, but he just has to push the anti-laker agenda. same with houston. he applauds NO for letting anderson and gordon go, then suggests houston is going to be good, you know, when harden decides to play d again, which is way more likely than mozgov recovering from a cyst removal. when you have to twist yourself into a pretzel within the same article, sometimes in adjacent paragraphs, you've let your agenda run wild with your analysis. stop it. you can be better.

i'd post the link, but nobody should read it.

I think Griffin punching a man half his size is the final straw. I mean that was his best friend, too.:giggle: Everybody is scared what he'll do to his ordinary friends or his nepotist coach.:wasntme: It's apparent he's roid raging.

Seeing the kids play in summer league and this influx of Laker hate from the media, I can conclude that they are scared of us. They have to take their shots now before we become the up and coming young team.
