    Incoming: Kevin Durant

Outgoing: Harrison Barnes, Andrew Bogut, Festus Ezeli, Leandro Barbosa, Mo Speights (+ Varejao and others)

Is 1 really > 5? Golden State's bench will absolutely suffer. I can't emphasize how important their bench was. They kept the momentum and allowed guys like Curry to play a solid 35 minutes every single night. Those guys were also perfect for the system.

David West helps. But they've got a lot of vets to recruit and I don't see this year's bench being as good. And that means the Warriors won't be as good as last year. You heard it here first. My prediction is 65-68 wins, obviously they're still going to dominate.

They didn't make that move for more regular season wins though. They made it to beat LeBron. And I can't see them losing.

Lebron won with Kyrie Irving and thats pretty much it. Sure, he got rebounding here and there but this is basketball, all you need is superstars. Depth is overrated.

Damn that's a lotta dough. I figured he'd get that kind of money and I'm kind of glad the Lakers didn't offer him that much.

That's quite a bit for a one dimensional bench player that I've never even heard of until free agency started

    Traded to another team.

I don't think that's fair for two reasons...

1.) Were they theoretically going to dish out new deals for all those players? I'd say no, especially to the back end of those names.

2.) It's not a 1 v 5 thing. They replaced Bogut with Zaza, Speights with West, Varejao with Jones.

Would we as Lakers fans be happy getting Durant for Barnes/Ezeli/Barbosa/Rush? I'd crap my pants personally. That's a steal. I'll reserve judgment on their bench until they fill it out, but I would say one thing that hurt their bench was the fact that they had too many bigs and Kerr didn't know who to play. They still have Livingston/Iggy off the bench, the only two real contributors aside from Barbosa. And KD is basically bringing entire bench production just by himself. As T said this isn't about the regular season, they could be the 8th seed and still be fine. Give me KD in the playoffs over the bench any day, especially on the road where they didn't show up.
