    Behind Russel, Calderon, Clarkson, and Lou, there really isn't any playing time to give to another guard. So although Huertas is redundant with Calderon there, it's not like an athletic/defensive third stringer could even make a difference on the court.

    not impressed with jabari brown, and i don't think the lakers really need any more young guys vying for minutes or coaches' developmental energy. vets everywhere, imo. gotta keep the young fellas in line.

    We're pretty much three deep at every position except shooting guard.

    Russell/Calderon/Huertas
    Clarkson/Lou/
    thankfully not. Warriors have the next five years locked down. When these guys develop it's their turn.
