Miami is going to be awesome this season. Their roster right now has literally 5 guaranteed salaries. And one of them is Bosh who may be done. They are going to have to start signing D-Leaguers just to field a roster.
That's not what he said at all. There's no need for a reaction like this, let's try and keep things civil and respectful, a little more level headed wouldn't hurt either.
Dude. Chill, man. I'm just speaking in terms of what we are used to. The last 4 years have gotten really bad. This type of signing would have barely registered 6-7 years ago. No one said anything about anyone being terrible fans.
Tank. Hard. Get a top pick next year and chase Blake Griffin next summer. I'd bet the bank that's Riley's plan.
Probably wants that. But IF Bosh comes back and Whiteside doesn't go in the tank, Dragic, Winslow, Whiteside, and Bosh will keep them from being bottom 5 or 6.
Hold on.. Mitch can make some amazing trades, but he can't do miracles like that. Even though the Pau trade was basically a miracle.
Dude. I hope Bosh medically retires. He seems like a real good dude and I would hate to see him drop dead on the court. Him hanging around hurts Miami, but even that isn't worth something horrible happening.
This thread exploded quickly, will catch up later but this was a really good move. Fills a big need and a big screw you to Riley. Would be a little mad if he didn't come with a pick but oh well. Defense won't be there but I think he'll be able to hold down the second unit like Livingston.
Nice trade dump. He's an upgrade over Huertas, and he fits Luke's system better than Lou Williams would.
So, we did have a plan after all. Calderon simply completes it. Very good, Mitch. Imma pull this one out:
Put me down for 38. If Ingram can grab that starting job after the all star break I'll bump it up 4 or 5.
I mean I hope so. I don't want to say yes. We thought we'd be in the 30s last year. I want to see Ingram on Friday first before I officially push my chips in, but I hope we are. We've got actual, competent veterans backing up some truly talented kids. We're now squarely where Minnesota is in my opinion so we should win about as many games as they will (assuming Ingram is as NBA ready as we are hearing). They won 29 games last year...
