    Possibly... at a contract starting around the same as Deng? That's a lot of dough for a guy I'm not sure fits anymore after Deng.

    Maybe Crabbe?

    Yeah. We need a guard. Deng plays the 4 a bit and Nance and Randle could play small ball 5. Add Mozgov, Black and Zubac to the mix...we have the 4 and 5 pretty sealed up. We only have 4 guards though. If any of them go down, no one can slide back from the 3.

    Late to the party when the news was announce but glad Mitch wasn't sitting around with his thumb up his butt. Solid veteran back up to Russel. I think we have a vet mentor for everyone of our younglings.

    Keep Huertas as insurance policy. Get rid of Young. Sign a 2/3 wing (can Jabari play the 3?). Let's get the season rolling.

    No not like deng....was thinking more like 2yrs 24mill with player opt for yr 2. He could use us to get more attention and a bigger payday next yr

    Feel free to call me crazy, but I'd be content to roll with Anthony Brown as 3rd string SF and see what we have with him rather than give Crabbe a big deal. Unless, yes, it's for one year. Would rather go after a guard or PF than another SF.

    To me, both Crabbe and Harkless are good players but for what we would have to pay like you mentioned it just doesn't make a lot of sense for us and really for them with the amount of PT they'd get barring injury of course.

    PG rotation deeper than bleep now. Will feel badly for Marcello though if this means he is gone, left to fend for himself in what's left of Free Agency.

    We still have room for more pieces or... we can save this money and go into next season with close to a max deal available in FA.

    Someone wanna eat crow for saying that they thought Mitch was not inquiring about moves like for Calderon?

    Thought so.

    So far:
    Russ/Calderon/Huertas
    Clarkson/Williams
    Deng/Ingram/A. Brown
    Randle/Nance
    Moz/Black/Zubac

    I think the backcourt is pretty set. Between Russ/Calderon/Clarkson/Williams, there will be some pretty spare minutes.

    I think a stretch 4/5 would be a nice addition to this team to give us a little bit of a different look. I would prefer to go after someone like Meyers Leonard than Crabbe if we're going the restricted route. Stretch Young and throw money at Meyers.

    I'd still be okay with dumping Lou, stretching Nick, and signing Crabbe. But if Lou is still on the roster, there isn't enough playing time to give big money to Crabbe.
