    I'm real happy we swooped in and got Calderon...but my oh my. Look at how excited we are getting for a 5 years past his prime Calderon.

    Considering the alternatives were Huertas alone, the last available free agent PGs nobody wanted, or some D-League insurance player, I'd say the reactions are justified. Nobody is expecting Calderon to be great, only to be able to give Russ a little rest, be the true PG he is with our 2nd unit, and yet another veteran presence we lacked. We now have vets at guard, SF, and C to mentor the younger guys. It's a solid move.

    Picked him up for essentially nothing. With two 2nd-round picks along with him. Plus, he's an expiring. And he shoots over 40% from 3.
