    I think he's going to really excel at times in Walton's offense. Won't defend a lick, but he'll space the floor well and move the ball which are two musts.

    Just needs to stay healthy. I think thats the main reason why NYK fans hated him so much. The guy can certainly play, but needs to stay on the floor.

    I think coming to our team as the backup PG is perfect for him and us. I think he helps bring that 2nd unit together with spacing, movement, all those good things coming from a Luke offense.

    Awesome, that came out of nowhere, Mitch does it again. Calderon is not young, not what he was, but he's a true PG, better than any backup we have, and one more valuable vet. Great move.

    Well Chicago HAD to dump him so I really hope that they gave us a 2nd round pick along with Calderon to compensate us for taking their dump which they needed to do in order to sign Wade...similar to the Lin/1st deal 2 years ago.

    Chicago had their pick for 2017, was owed Sacramento's 1st (protected top 10, I think), and an additional second. I really hope we managed to snag a pick from them in the process, but you never know. We didn't HAVE to give up anything for this (logistically).

    Well he didn't play much his first year in NY, but last year he started in and played 72 games. Not bad. In a bench role I think he'll really excel and can add a couple years to his career.

    He's got a LOT of pressure to live up to that contract now, taking over for the beloved Wade. Good job not even taking a meeting with the Lakers dude, better not get comfortable and fat now. Could have been playing with Russ, JC, Deng, Ingram, Randle, Nance. Now he's playing with Dragic, Winslow...and..?
