Could Jabari give us as much as Barbosa has left in the tank for considerably less money?

Some article said he was like a star in China last year, and he looked like he was a scorer with us, but we kept the Peace instead for last spot?

Well we kept Ryan Kelly instead of the last spot really... Remember how he shined in pre-season and then utterly disappeared literally the first time he played in the regular season?

Jabari could probably give us what Barbosa could, but Barbosa would also help with translating the system in practice. I'm good with either.

The season before though he had some pretty decent or even big games points wise at the end of the regular season? I like that he has been around now and to China, yet back in the good ole USA hammering away to get into the NBA. Agree with you about Barbosa knowing the system.

I'm not disagreeing. I like Jabari and I think he can be a pretty good 10th man on a team. I'd take him back in that role this summer for sure.

I'm excited actually, for 3rd string PG, to see Huertas back .... playing in a real system. There's a reason the Lakers gave him a qualifying offer too. We have so many dudes that can handle the ball well out on the perimeter now including even BI that why spend more serious money for Galloway or anyone else. Huertas like every single other player on the team had Byron's stink all over him. Huertas is real fun to watch. At 3rd string or even higher a bit in the rotation, a smart coach like Luke will know best when he can use him and HIDE him on defense. Dirt cheap.

'Celo! Huertas as 3rd string is fine. Russell will have the lion's share of minutes at the point with Clarkson in relief for spot minutes. Walton is smart enough not to have Williams do time there...

D'Angelo needs to be playing 36 min a game. Ingram 30+. Randle 30+ and Clarkson 36 min as well. Run the kids, let the vets do what they do but let the kids make a name for themselves.

Like back in the day? He's never really made it to the next level. I watched him a bit in college, and I thought highly of him. He's a depth signing, but he wouldn't be a bad update.

I know what I'm secretly hoping for....

Middle of the third in a tight game, lights inside Staples goes out. Pyro hits.

Sasha got hot late in the season. Over the course of his last 17 games, he averaged 9.0 points, 2.0 assists, 4.1 boards, and shot 48% on FGs, 46% on threes, and 93% on FTs.

Go Mitch go! Man if we could nab Winslow it'd be such an awesome grab.

Oh Huertas is gonna be a lot better playing in a modern system. Scott's grind it out style ain't for a finesse player like him. According to Pincus the FO now saying they didn't understand why Boron didn't play Tarik Black a lot more either.

The sense I get, the Lakers never quite understood why B. Scott didn’t play Tarik Black more, was an issue of contention

I might prefer to have a pick, but I wouldn't complain about Winslow and McRoberts.

Winslow would be a steal. I remember how we even almost considered him for the number 2 pick.

Now Winslow would be a coup.

    PG - Russell
    SG - Ingram
    SF - Winslow
    PF - Randle
    C - Mozgov

    Not a bad line-up...

I'd give them Nance to make that work. Nance for McRoberts and Winslow. Winslow would be a coup.
