I'd prefer Frazier, but I think both are intriguing.

If the Lakers had the money, work with me here, and they offered Wade 2 years, 60 million. Would Wade come to the Lakers?

That team is not beating the gsw and by time gsw is done competing wade/deng are done and we have no promising young players to help a 30 something westbrook....sounds like typical mitch/jim to do, mortage the future for slim chance of winning

I hope Deng is working the phone with Wade telling him how much better it's going to be here than in Miami. 2 Franchises going opposite directions this point in time. 23-26M whatever we can do and let's make some noise D. Wade. Here's Luuke to explain everything and give you his vision.

Wade has to take at least that Call, right? He'd have to be blind not to see what's building here.

The Lakers' FO is smart enough in seizing a window of opportunity to make a call and an offer to him like that, right?

Wade is a very good player, and I respect his game.

Not sure I get the fit here, though. He's had trouble staying healthy, and isn't an ideal fit in our system (slight assumption on my part) with his limited shooting range.

Also, this all feels like a leverage ploy to squeeze all he can out of Miami after taking less than he should've for so long to help them bring in talent. Wade in Denver seems soooo...odd. I guess I could see him home in Chicago, but even that feels weird. I think he's a Heat lifer.

As for the Lakers, I'd rather toss a substantial offer sheet at Crabbe and try to bring in another young-ish vet to grow with our young core.

I was more just remarking how a guy who was drummed out of the NBA a year or two ago could end up getting a 20 million dollar deal for no reason.

Yes, but then agents would lose trust in them. D. Jordan can do it to Cuban. Boozer did it to the Clips. But a team's executive office can't do it back.

True but they have had some decent value signing so far....could just use rudy as salary dump asset if/when teams regret some of the contracts they gave out this season, maybe someone like us lol

I don't think we've got regrettable contracts. Good for Rudy though to even get a random offer like that. I'd love if someone called me out of the blue to come to an old job and get paid 6 years worth of salary in one year. Great life.

Agents arent even giving the Lakers a meeting. Agents can eat carrots with the skin on it!

We didn't need meetings for two good FAs to sign them. Game set match. Cept we paid a lot, though nowhere near the "most" lot going on out there.

(under our 17 games won last year Byron stench)

I'm no Wade fan, but I at least make the offer to him. He played 74 games last season, averaged 19/5, he still has game. With him we're probably a playoff team and back to respectability. Costs us a shot at Westbrook next season, but I don't think we really have a shot anyway honestly. I don't think Wade leaves Miami either, but I try to make him do so if I'm the Lakers.

I dont see why por wouldn't match.....a guy we should take a flyer on is Harkless, with turner they're on his big contract i dont think por world retain Harkless as oppose to crabbe who offers elite 3pt shooting

I disagree....we'll be regretting mozgov signing pretty quickly, deng will be solid but mozgov isnt going to live up to expectations even if they are on the low side as is imo
