LOL! Don't we wish!. Hey, on another note, opinions on Norris Cole, anybody? I've always thought of him as a very feisty, underrated defender. He's not great offensively, but not a liability, either. He's only 27 and might take a 2-year deal; just speculation on my part.

Looking through that list, and he was the only one who caught my eye as someone I'd be interested in as a back-up PG. I don't care much for Felton or Galloway.

With that said, I honestly don't know TOO much about Cole. From his time on Miami as a contender, I had the perception that he was a hard worker and good defender. But then when he got traded, a lot of Miami fans were thankful. They thought his defense was overrated and he made a bunch of boneheaded plays.

But we do need a back-up PG ... so maybe our best bet is to get a starting SG so that Clarkson can slide back and play the back-up guard. GET WADE, MITCH!

Yeah, Wade moves the needle more than anybody, but I think he stays in Miami. I seen Norris play in Miami and in NO. He's not great, but he's serviceable. Coming to a team that really has no defenders outside of Deng on the perimeter, he'd be an upgrade in that area for us.

I know I'm late to this, but says the guy who couldn't do squat until Ray Allen and former MVP Kevin Garnett came and joined him.

Haven't you guys learned anything from the Dwight trade? We absolutely cannot trade for a star without guarantee that he will stay here. Our best bet is Free agency. No way in hell I'm trading for Westbrook...we have the opportunity to improve our profile. We're rock bottom right now and our perception can only improve from here on out.

There will be competition trying to get the services of Westbrook but I believe he wants to be the next Kobe on this Lakers franchise. Unlike the other guys he actually wants to be THE MAN

Gerald Henderson would be a good pick up.

KD just ruined competition for me. I feel bad for these young kids growing up and seeing their roll models run from a challenge. These players want to play with their friends and crap rather than beat them. There's only a handful with the old blood in them, that's why I'm a Lilard and Westbrook fan.

OKC had a great team (and was about to add Horford). KD went with an easiest way to a title (much easier than Bron). This is why i was and still am a Westbrook guy.

Yeah, Westbrook is obviously intriguing but our young core is invaluable. The risk of trading now is enormous for us because we don't have another shot at a rebuild. We're losing our 1st round picks to Philly and Orlando for the foreseeable future, so if we lose our kids, we're SOL. We'd be in the same situation as the Nets. We might as well shut down LB for 5 years because we'd have nothing to talk about.

I think many folks are underappreciating the position we are in. We are VERY fortunate to have kept the #2 picks in 2015 and 2016, and to have picked up a gem in Clarkson. I don't know what the odds were for us to be in this position, but I'd say they were less than 5%. I wouldn't push our luck any further.

Besides, I don't care what the media says. We are not at ground zero. Not even close. We have the best young core in the league along with the Wolves. We will be competing for the title in 2020. However, we have to be patient. No impulsive trades. As I said earlier, we only have one shot at this.

You can love or hate what KD did...he probably gives a ****.

I would rather go to a super team and collect rings rather than end up as another Karl Malone or Charles Barkley. KD absolutely did the right thing for himself. He wasn't gonna win it all in OKC...and after all its business. If you make dumb decisions, you will suffer.

They were few minutes away from the Finals and about to add one of the best centers available. It's not like he left a 17 win team to join a contender, come on now...

Well. This does 1 of two things:

    1. Durant is forever looked upon as a lesser superstar
    2. people will finally let go of the whole "Kobe needed Shaq" so he has only 2 rings (although this one was already out when LeBron went to Miami)

Either way - I'd rather win against all odds then join a super team.

    Bad karma.

Whats the difference? Did he improve? the answer is yes. Everything else is bla bla.

He doesn't want to be on a good team, he wants to be on the best. If people do not understand this...thats their problem really. He doesn't care and he shouldn't either. He must make a decision, which maximizes his return and he just did that. He gave the Thunder all he had and he earned the right to make a choice and everybody has to not only accept it, but respect it too.

The same way teams can and regularly do trade players in order to improve...players can and will change teams in order to improve, if they feel like it.

I would have stunned if he went to a crap team like the Knicks. But he went to the best team to make them even better.

If this is the case, we should not hear a word about James from now on. To this day people on the internet "cry" about what Bron did but since Durant is "likable" he gets a free pass?
Defending Lebron makes me wanna puke but the double standards are ridiculous...

The truth is there was NOTHING wrong with LeBron's switch either.

The problem was making a TV spectacle out of it and becoming an attention w****. That was disrespectful to the Cavs IMO. And then coming to TV and sing "not one, not two, not 3..."...that was extremely stupid and disrespectful.

But overall, people make it a much much bigger issue than it was. In 10 years people will not remember LeBron taking his talents to south beach...people will remember him for bringing the Championship to Cleveland. It was well worth it.

There is no double standard. There are intelligent fans and fanboys...there is a difference like apples and oranges.
