    Meh. Never was that high on him to be honest. Just hasn't done much to live up to the hype in my eyes.

    I'll keep asking because I honestly don't know the mood but what are the even outside possibilities we have a shot at Westbrook next summer?

    If we're competitive around the All-Star break fighting for an 8th seed, I won't trade anybody for him. If we're a 10th or 11th seed which is more reasonable to expect, then I make the call and see what it'd take at least.

    Believe me I want Westbrook too. The thing I'd be afraid of is say we do that. What's to say he doesn't want to stay on a bad team and he bolts. Then we just gave up young guys for a one year rental and God forbid they turn into all stars later.

    @therealdeal you're making no sense.

    Westbrook will be a UFA whether he's traded or not. Which Lakers team do you think will have a greater chance to sign him?

    1. A team with 3 players with allstar potential in Ingram, Russell, and Randle.

    2. A depleted roster with only Ingram as a potential star.

    Last time I checked 3 > 1

    Where is david stern to block this move for NBA reasons? Just playing and know he does not own a team involved in deal.

    Gasol likely to do what now? okc likely to push for him?

    I would be in shock if Westbrook doesn't test the waters next year. And I would be in shock if he doesnt end up in LA. Clippers or Lakers next year. Lakers need to win 40 games next year and really show something and I think it will be a great situation for all parties.
