Congrats on your new child... I like Afflalo, have for years. I still say we need a SF. I just don't see putting Ingram out there right away.

Thanks for the Afflalo feedback, guys. If we can snag him for 3 years for $24-27 million, I'd happily take him.

Did Shaw coach him in Denver?

edit- I lied! He played for him in 2014/2015 but Afflalo was traded that year.

The CompanyA/CompanyB analogy is really what anyone should get and relax.

    1. we were not getting any of the top FAs
    2. we need a C and a 3-D guys
    3. we need to spend the cap

These, together, pretty much sealed the deal on Mozgov. He is, simply put, the best C that agreed to sign, health provided.

These, together, will also seal the deal on Lee/Crabbe/Deng for 70mil over 4.

Scary right? But if someone who wasn't as established as Baze can get 16-17, someone of Lee's resume could easily get 20.

I think the fact that Barnes is Restricted puts a hamper on why no one has made an offer yet. And it's all dependent on KD. If Durant decides to stay, than GS will most likely match anyway and can take their time doing that. Which is why they probably haven't given Barnes a QO yet.

So it's not so much about Barnes as a player, it's more the situation, though he was a bit underwhelming in the playoffs this year.

I thought Barnes played great. After Lebron, he was Cleveland's best player.

I think we should go after Allen Crabbe he's good scorer and is young! Only 24. Offer him 15 million a year for 4 years

Glad to hear we went after Bazemore, I like him better than Lee but I hope we offer Lee the same contract and see what happens. Afflalo, Deng, Marvin Williams and Barnes are still available and we've heard next to nothing about them.

Or maybe we can try and hold out to see if we can be a dump for a team looking to free up cap, Milsap is very attractive but not sure how that'll work.

He is the poster child of inconsistency with his play on the court. Good locker room guy though in that he doesn't say much and just goes about his job.

I'd rather have Joe Johnson than Waiters or Rondo. But other than those player we can move on from him.

Wow, Joe taking a discount for Utah?

Interesting choice. Ball dependent non-defense wing. No thanks.
