Well, we are not patient fans. We rebuilt in the 90's, but we were never this bad. We missed the playoffs one year and then we were back in them every year for 20 years straight. Also, Van Exel and Eddie Jones became all-stars after not too long. We weren't winning titles, but we were still competetive and fun to watch. We are not that now, and we haven't made any moves to get better yet other than adding Ingram. I know I'm repeating myself, but IMO Mozgov doesn't add wins to this team, he's a lateral move from Hibbert. Except Hibbert didn't have knee issues at least.

You realize that you are implying that social media is a valid measurement of whether signing Mozgov was a good move or not. It might not be, but social media is populated by knuckleheads and numbsculls.

I remember this one well, the joke everywhere was that Mozgov Mozgoved himself.

People will have to learn to be patient. That's just the way it is. It's not easy, but other teams have to learn how to be patient so do we. At some point the Lakers we're reach the point. I'd argue the 90's Lakers that were in a worse position because they were just that. Mediocre and that's pretty much the worst thing we can be.

Now we start from scratch. We re-build. With an excellent young core. With add some veterans to help along the way. We see Luke install his system, his beliefs, his basketball principles and see them grow and get better. It's not a position we've been in, but it's where we're now.

Well, I guess we'll agree to disagree.

I don't believe anything you said right there. On the last rebuild, Mitch built a contender. He then tried to sustain that as long as possible with the vetoed trade of CP3, the signing of Nash and D12. There are things out of Mitch's control but he did a heck of a job putting championship teams together when he got Gasol, getting Ariza, etc.

Also, teams can screw up the draft ... just look at the C-bags this year. The Lakers have drafted extremely well with a group of players (Russell, Randle, Clarkson and now Ingram).

Well, you'd be wrong, because the 90's Lakers were mediocre, but they were mediocre enough to make the playoffs multiple times and have players, a pitch, and a GM that attracted Shaq here. We're so bad right now we can't even get a meeting with a top free agent.

I completely understand why the Grizz had to give Conley that deal and I don't blame them in their position, but an average of $30M to Conley is laughable. I like his game but that's still absurd.

I would take Wade, he can still play and he'd be a great vet to have around our young backcourt, he'd be the team leader instantly. That said, with the insane amounts of money being thrown around I'm sure if Miami doesn't pay him, some team out there will give him his absolute max to get a big name, or he'll take that 20 mil to go to a contender. If Bazemore is asking 20 mil, Wade should be getting Conley money.

Im gonna throw this out there.....How many of you think PART of our failure in FA this year is because some people
don't wanna play with a kid that films them and has shown a ton of immaturity?? I don't necessarily think that, but it might be a factor for some
