f*** this s***. I don't know how you could ruin these last two weeks. But we do this. I'm sure in that third year when we need to sign someone to compliment our young core, that b******* contract won't hurt at all.

He's certainly more mobile than Hibbert and definitely more coordinated. He's a better version of Hibbert: very average, but at least he's not bad. :)

He also got surgery though. Honestly though, I am hopeful that he can at least somewhat live up to his contract but I didn't like the idea of Lakers paying Biyombo another $18M/yr on top of Mozgov's contract. However, I am skeptical of Mozgov and his ability to reproduce his productivity because Lebron can easily make other players look pretty damn good plus Kyrie, JR, and Kevin Love getting all of the intention and he's 30. But at least the front office is confident in him and gunned for him.

    Yeah heard that.

It's all crap though. Why would he come here?? There's nothing for him here. I don't know where they heard that or why, but I just don't see any reason why Pau would return when there's multiple contenders looking for his services.

I have watched a lot of basketball. We do not need a bust to come take minutes from young guys who are going to have to play 40 min a game to make up for the front offices inability to sign legit players.

Pretty much how I see it.

Honestly after all the negativity I'm actually excited ANYONE wanted to be here. :D

I've watched plenty of Evan Turner. He is decent. He will have games where he shows flashes, but mostly he is average, he never was able to break through to live up to how high he was drafted, fair or not.

Concerning Pau, shoot, I'd take him back in a second now hearing the names we are interested in and I'd start him at Center. Defense be damned, great passer, still can score, exactly the kind of vet that our team could use. 2 days ago, didn't want any part of Pau, now I'd beg him to come back.

Well it's unreasonable to assume that both Woj and Ramona are making it up. I'm sure Pau would've been open to a return for big money on a short-term deal. I'm guessing the contenders that want him expect him to take a relatively cheaper deal.

He's not the name people wanted but I think he is an upgrade at center for us.

Stop getting hung up on numbers guys! The market dictates the price. This is a reasonable deal and we've got plenty of money left. Take a deep breath, it's going to be alright. :)

Starting SF (so BI can play 20 - 23 minutes) + Pau for 20x2 is perfect to me.

Zubacca is going to get a PERFECT mentor for him to work with. 2 years and we have a new, stronger Pau.

I'd rather have Mozgov than Dion Waiters. Waiters is the worst player in the NBA by some standards.

It's not rock bottom for me. I was shocked they had only strong, positive things to say about the deal. No low blows.

Now I'm not exactly excited either. I wanted 2 things out of our free agent big

    1) a rim protector
    2) a starter

Mozgov is neither, and I'd hoped we could get a better caliber starting center. If he's a backup....that's a lot of money for a backup C when you have Black/Zubac and still plan on signing a starter.

Mosgov doesn't need the ball to be effective at what he does. One thing I like about em

Turner is far from mediocre. He's a very good defender, good mid range shooter,
I am feeling a little better. Thank you. Now I may not have to drink tonight.

I'm ok with Mozgov in general, because he fills a huge need: Good in the P&R and is a solid rim protector.

But good Lord, that contact is a bitter pill to swallow for a soon-to-be 30-year old. I know B-Shaw coached him in Denver and reportedly loves the guy, but...yeah...seems quite steep, even in this inflated cap era. Sure hope he proves to be worth it.
