    The bad news it reportedly Parsons wants near max money so theoretically he could take a slight pay cut if Portland wants that.

    Would you take a pay cut instead of living in Los Angeles we a team will potentially pay youmax money? Or does Parsons take less from Portland to win? I guess we will see.

    We (and the Media) need to stop saying "so & so Free Agent isn't worth Max Money".. It's simple supply & demand..
    There are more teams with money than there are players to spend it on.. Mid Level guys are going to get Max contracts.. Period.

    & we better be prepared to pay it or we're resigning Hibbert & Boozer...

    Honestly with what's happening in the front office and how unstable they're I'm willing to take a little bit less to sign with the Trailblazers to play with a superstar like Lillard and play for a really solid coach in Stotts.

    One interesting tidbit I heard on NBA radio today was that..

    If GS matches a Max Offer for Barnes, He will be the Highest Paid Player on that team... That's how out of whack this new salary cap is making this offseason..

    portland wouldn't be an unfriendly city for parsons, but he does seem more hollywood. i think that and extra cash would get him. portland hasn't been a FA hotbed in the past.

    yep. don't see how that doesn't blow up on them. i'd offer anything north of green/klay's salary and see if they flinch. awkward....
