    Well, I also look at some of the low priced dudes we could add and rub my hands together.

    Would you be okay with adding a combo of something like Vujacic/Barbosa and Black/Speights? I include the GSW dudes because of the Luke connection. Could we do battle with those dudes?

    Russell/Clarkson
    Batum/Williams
    Ingram/Vujacic/Brown
    Randle/Nance
    Horford/Black/Zubac

    Edit: we might be able to load up a bit more - and add either Barbosa or Speights in addition to all that. Or at least some other veteran.

    While the car dealership guy might not be the best of sources, I will say this, when a handicapper is looking for an edge before he puts the line up for the bookie, the handicapper usually finds out inside information from sources that are typical to get that extra edge.

    To our young core with ZERO playoff experience, we'd add:
    Horford's 74 games, 73 starts, 2560 minutes.
    Batum's 39 games, 29 stars, 1165 minutes.
    Vujacic's 64 games, 954 minutes.
    Speights's 53 games, 486 minutes.
    Frazier's 2 games, 3 minutes.

    Wade would only make sense if Durant came. Issue with Wade is he would be that ISO guy like Kobe that would take away from development from the young core. I figure, if you are going to ISO anyone, ISO Ingram and let him get the kinks out for the next few years.

    She's 100% right and it's why I'm a bit salty right now. Give them a meeting, politely decline, but let them say their piece. I'm not sure what harm that does. Not a good look.

    It's one of those things the Lakers should remember and it should be a wake up call. I'm happy it's happening and they can move on for the sake of this summer, but Durant should still take the meeting.

    I understand that, but he should still take the meeting. No reason to alienate a marquee franchise. There's seriously no harm in it at all.

    All power to him, and it lets us go after the Whitesides and the Batums, but that doesn't change the fact that Durant should take the meeting.

    You know what I would love to do? Steal D-Wade, Deng and Whiteside from the HEAT and tell Riley to go suck it. THAT would be a successful off-season.
