It was about as low as you can get on the "average" scale. Very nearly bad. I'm getting really sick of Bryan Singer's X-Men and their low budget looks.
Apocalypse was very underwhelming to me. But I wonder if it's more fox's fault for being stingy on their budget so singer can't really be creative as he would want to be.
I'm pretty over Singer's vision for X-Men as well honestly. I'd prefer a more comic accurate X-Men that's not so focused on the big events.
Pretty much how I feel, I mean the best bits from the last two movies were the Quiksilver parts. The fight scenes in the Apocalypse were terrible.
Yeah the Quicksilver moments were the only truly memorable parts of the last two movies. Apocalypse felt like a lot of things happening, but when I try to look back and remember it there's just not much substance there.
Boy am I late to the Apocalypse movie. Very underwhelming, I did enjoy seeing more/different X-Men but the fighting was so bad.
Pft. Marvel's just like Sony stuffing women into men's roles. Marvel stuffing an African American into this role....sooooo PC. I'm obviously joking.
Luke Cage looks pretty good! I'm really excited for that series (I hope some of those effects are smoothed over though. ) I seriously can't wait for Iron Fist. I love Kung Fu stories and the Ed Brubaker run in Iron Fist is one of my favorites. Defenders is going to be epic! Daredevil confirmed Season Three! Amazing!
I wont lie between the mess that is american politics and the string of police related deaths and killing of police officers its been a rough couple of weeks for me. A lil luke cage in my life was a welcome break.
Saw this comment both as an actual talking point and as a (admitted non-PC joke don't get offended!): Oh great! It's a cop's worst nightmare: a bulletproof black guy.
Marvel / Netflix is killing it. I just hope they don't dress Iron Fist in the goofy green & yellow costume.
