    If dall can draw interest from conley/ whieside, why can't we? They made playoffs last yr but have no future as far as young prospects go

    Check this.

    We start with our skeleton crew.
    We take Hawes and 22.
    We trade Nick and the 22 for a second rounder. Let's say it ends up around 50.
    We trade the 32 for Ariza.

    Russell/
    Clarkson/Williams
    Ariza/Ingram/Brown
    Randle/Nance
    ?/Hawes

    Offer max to Horford.
    Offer 10M to Bazemore (y'all will love that).
    Have 2.5M remaining to sign a backup big.

    Russell/Clarkson
    Bazemore/Williams
    Ariza/Ingram/Brown
    Randle/Nance/(some lug - like Willie Reed)
    Horford/Hawes/50th pick - some young buck

    How many of you could get behind that team?

    #2 for Jimmy is really interesting. I'd do it if we can somehow guarantee a big name FA comes too but yeah, if it was #3 I'd do it in a heartbeat but thats not realistic at all.

    I'm just not sure I understand what the Bulls are doing if they trade us Butler for Ingram (not that I'm sure I would take that trade). Are they going full rebuild? I figured the move to trade Rose was to give Butler the keys to the franchise. I like Butler a lot, but I feel like Ingram's ceiling is higher than what Butler gives us now... I'm not sure about this move.
