    That is what losing mentality does for a team. I was glad to see the vets step up. I am exhausted. Finally a win.

    How do you fix that mentality after all this time? That was one of the dumbest things I've seen in a long time on a football field. Absolutely unacceptable.

    Still have to feel good for the organization though! First win in a long, long time.

    I think the change is in the works. It was incredibly stupid, but it's the kind of thing Raiders fans have seen for the better part of the last 20 years. Aside from the Gannon years, the Raiders have been total knuckleheads.

    Some stat projections - checking in

    I had Carr projected at: 204-338, 2279 yards, 12 TDs, 12 INTs
    He's already at 240-406, 2249, 14, and 9.
    -Carr is on pace for 3300 yards, 20 TDs

    I had MJD projected at 850 yards, 5.5 TDs.
    He's actually doing something historically bad.
    -In my lifetime (35 years), only five non-QBs have had at least 30 rushes and averaged under 2.0 yards a carry. Ike Forte in 1980, Reggie Rivers in 1994, Lamar Gordon in 2004, Ciatrick Fason in 2005, and MJD in 2014.

    Projection: DMC 499 yards, 4.5 TDs
    McFadden is averaging only 3.4 yards per carry, but he's on pace to blow past my yards projection. He has remained healthy, has carried the ball about 11 times per game, and is on pace for just over 600 yards on the ground and 3 TDs. I'm tempted to say he's done, but I really want to see him as a second half runner after LTM has tired defenses a bit. On the bright side, DMC is on pace to challenge for a career high receptions, and if he continues on his current pace, he'll finish with about 900 yards of offense.

    Projection: LTM 204 yards, 2 TDs
    I had no idea how many touches LTM would manage. Just getting him those touches in the running game changed him as a player. Suddenly he was juking, stiff-arming, and racing (at up to 23 mph) 90 yards for a score. He even looked great on his next kickoff return (but a penalty negated it). He's on pace for about 240 yards and 3 scores on the season, but something tells me he'll see an uptick as soon as his concussion is cleared up.
