That's great! He's got a good personality for this kind of stuff. He's going to do great things in LA.
You guys seen this: http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/2016/...mparisons-valid/?ls=nba:draft:headlinessplit4
NIce. There's been a few breakdowns, but the more I see of this the more I think Ingram is going to be different than KD. He's got a different mindset than that so I just don't know if he'll ever be that guy to just go fill up buckets. That's not to say he'll be better or worse, just a different kind of player. He's got that upside though for sure.
LOL all my life I fancy myself as an even numbered guy. If working in PS or FCPX with adjustments I almost always waste a little time making sure it's an even number. But just now after the number question for Ingram I realize I lean very strongly odd number with uniform numbers. Go figure plus who cares ....yeah I know.
I like this kid already, he's got a laid back cool confidence about him. I think he's gonna fit in very well with our young core.
Ingram's personality would mesh well with Russell and Clarkson. Randle will be the more serious, edgy individual of the quartet...keep everyone in line. Russell will be become the ring leader, Clarkson will be the "good cop"... For the other rung, let's not forget Nance who does what is needed not looking for attention.
Numbers always have significance to a player, and not one player would even ask for #8 on the Lakers.
same reason @JSM made a few pages ago when talking about Buddy Hield. You try to get as much knowledge on players as possible because you never know when someone could be made available in the future and if you already have information, workouts, measurables, etc. on that player you can make a better decision. Just because you might have your person at #2 doesn't mean you stop working and getting better as an organization.
I'm just glad all this is over. Even after the lottery process this thing has been so stressful. Every day I've been stressing out about tommorow and once it's done we can move forward and no stress really for three plus months. We've already pretty much had a successful offseason by getting Ingram in all likelihood and bringing Luke in as our coach and really anything else is a cherry on top of a great offseason.
Thrilled that barring a blockbuster offer, the pick is in. Ingram was who I wanted as soon as we had a shot at a top pick. Dream fit for this team (need + style). How the pieces are falling is making for such a great off-season. 1) Bye-bye Byron 2) Hello Luke 3) Come on down Ingram Now if FA follows suit and we get a couple solid pieces, I'll call this the best summer we've had since landing Pau.
Someone has to say it so I'll be that someone: we didn't land Pau in the summer/offseason... The rest of your post is fine, carry on
